Margaret Josephs ‘mortified’ by ‘entitled’ Jennifer Aydin’s Jersey Mike’s rant: ‘Stop acting’ like a ‘villain’

Margaret Josephs described feeling “mortified” after watching Jennifer Aydin age- and job-shame a Jersey Mike’s employee.

During Monday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “Reality Checked,” host Kiki Monique asked the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star how she felt about her co-star’s rant on social media.

“I had secondhand embarrassment. I was so upset,” Josephs said.

“How can you shame people who are working so hard on New Year’s Day? I was mortified. I was heartbroken. These people are working so hard, they’re serving you.”

The Bravolebrity further called out her co-star for “being so entitled,” adding, “All I’m thinking is, if you don’t wanna be portrayed as a villain, then stop acting like one.”

When asked if she had reached out to Aydin after the initial backlash of her video, the 57-year-old said she didn’t because they “are not friends that way” and it reminded her why they weren’t in the first place.

“Obviously, that is Jennifer,” Josephs quipped. “That’s exactly who she is because she thought that behavior was OK. She uploaded that video herself.”

The “Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget” author went on to blast Aydin, 47, for calling herself a “celebrity” in the controversial video.

“None of us are celebrities, we are on a reality show. We’re everyday people who just happen to be on camera,” she commented. “It’s embarrassing.”

“I was embarrassed for her, and I’m embarrassed for her family that she behaves that way,” she continued. “I think it’s embarrassing for our franchise that she behaves that way. It’s not nice.”

Josephs further pointed out that it’s “very indicative of someone’s character” how they “treat people in the service industry.”

“I was so heartbroken that she would speak this way about people, like belittling them as she’s going on a vacation, speaking this way,” she concluded. “The people online were disgusted and she thought this was OK to post about? Like, why post about it? How do you think this is acceptable behavior?”

Last week, Aydin came under fire when she complained on her Instagram Stories about waiting in line at an airport Jersey Mike’s “for what felt like forever.”

“The 80-year-old that was working there, I mean, the amount of time she took to cut that bread was almost as much as we were waiting [in] that line. Jeez,” the reality TV star said in the since-expired video before calling the employee “slow.”

The mom of five also expressed her outrage when she was told to “wait [in] line again” to request another sandwich after having placed her initial order.

The beauty brand owner got even more upset when the customer behind her –– whom she called an “a–hole” –– got involved and said it was “ridiculous” of her to ask for a second sandwich at the last minute.

The Bravolebrity warned the angry customers that she was a “f–king celebrity,” and her husband, Bill Aydin, was a “medical doctor.”

Aydin has yet to address the backlash, but some of her co-stars have also spoken out against her.
