In case you missed it, Clint Rice and Jacqui Burfoot from MAFS Australia are engaged. The proposal happened at an reunion watch party MAFS fans bought tickets for. Clint gave Jacqui a $30,000 AUD ring from the same company which sponsored the event. Many MAFS Australia contestants have plenty of opinions about this surprising turn of events. Ryan decided to video Clint from the toilets so he could thank him for keeping Jacqui away from mainland Australia?!
The MAFS contestants Jeff and Rhi (yes, they’re still together) did not hold back their reactions to Clint and Jacqui’s news, either.
Yahoo Lifestyle asked Jeff and Rhi whether they’d ever consider having a double wedding with Clint and Jacqui.
“Oh my gosh, I’d rather pluck my nostril hairs out one by one,” Rhi answered.
Jeff said: “I don’t know if I’d want to be part of a sponsored wedding. It’d be a bit cringe, if you ask me. There’d be too many items and companies getting tagged through Instagram.”
Rhi and Jeff were also asked whether Clint and Jacqui’s engagement made them feel any pressure to get married sooner. Rhi responded, “Absolutely not.”
Although the couple would not like to share their special day with Clint and Jacqui, apparently they would be open to getting married live on TV?
Jeff replied: “I think we would consider it, to be honest. Our experience with reality TV, and obviously MAFS, has been great. We love it. We loved everyone from production and the network. It was great. So that’s something we probably would consider.”
