Looking for an affordable way to enhance your surroundings? Madison LeCroy has you covered.
The Southern Charm cast member returned to TikTok this week to share the easy and “cheap” way she elevates her Charleston home. Posted on July 22, the video showed Madison standing before a pile of flowers that she planned to display in her entrance.
“So on Mondays, I always try to go to Trader Joe’s and get flower arrangements for the week, just because it makes me so happy and, honestly, it’s super cheap,” she said while snipping a few stems. “I know they’re not in bloom… This will go at the front door but I have a bunch of them. I think it’ll look really good.”
Madison said she prefers to purchase gladiolus — aka sword lilies — because of their longevity, but admits they’re sometimes hard to find.
“These last a while but they’re not always [at the store] when I go,” she continued. “So if you go early in the morning to Trader Joe’s, you can get them around 9 [a.m.] and they’re the best.”
Madison LeCroy breathes new life into her home entrance
Madison said the floral arrangements add height to her entryway, but she can achieve the same effect by taking greenery from her garden.
“I go out in the yard and I’ll [get] live palms,” she explained. “I have to do that at nighttime when no one’s looking at me… My goal in life is to be Martha Stewart. I have a long way to go but, yeah, this is what makes me happy.”
The video then cut to Madison arranging a few decorative pieces near the bottom of her staircase, where she displayed the flowers on a stone entry table. The setup, which included a few coffee table books and a candle, added a chic yet cozy element to the space; however, fans didn’t get the full effect until a couple of days later, after the flowers began to bloom.
“I know y’all wanted me to show y’all the after, so I’m gonna show you,” Madison said in a July 23 TikTok. “This is two days later. Isn’t that pretty? It looks like asparagus with flowers on it. I’m obsessed, like, I actually love it.”
Madison LeCroy shares an update on her outdoor space
Madison purchased her Charleston abode in the spring of 2022 with her then-fiancé, Brett Randle. Since tying the knot later that year, the couple has made many upgrades to their property, which includes a full gym, a glam room, and gorgeous landscaping.
She spoke about her home in a 2022 interview with BravoTV.com, saying she was particularly proud of her outdoor space.
"I don't want to go and brag, but I just got 'yard of the month,'" she said. "It was just something that me and [her son] Hudson would do together. Now that this [yard] is mine, I'm like hand-picking leaves out of the cracks of my staircase."
On July 22, the mother of one returned to Instagram to share a quick update on her front yard, which she filled in with lush greenery and flowers.
"This makes me so happy," she captioned a Story of her mowing the lawn.
