MADE In Chelsea star Sam Vanderpump has announced he's engaged to model Alice Yaxley.
The happy couple have had a whirlwind six-month relationship, including a terrifying incident that left Sam hours away from death after contracting sepsis.
Doctors later credited Alice for getting an ambulance to Sam in time because, if she left it much later, he could have died.
Sam later explained the sepsis developed as part of a complication to a genetic condition.
Staying by his side throughout, Alice cemented herself as The One for Sam, and he secretly popped the question on February 23rd.
Now they're preparing for a glamorous wedding as they begin their life together.
Speaking about the ring and proposal to OK! Magazine, Sam said: “I planned the whole engagement, asked her family and got permission from her dad.
"I was worried about what they would say since we hadn’t been together long, but everyone was so supportive. It was only the second time I’d met Alice’s dad and he said everything I’d want him to say! It was great."
Seeking help from fellow Made In Chelsea stars Ollie Locke and Sophie Hermann, Sam got to ring shopping to make sure he got the perfect ring.
He later proposed in a private viewing room of a jewellery shop – which he covered with flowers and hired violnists to surprise her with.
“I completely choked on my words,” he admits. “I’m not even sure what I said.
"I blurted out a few words and her full name, and managed to get the, ‘Will you marry me’ out, which was the most important bit!
"Then it was just loads of tears from the both of us. We were emotional wrecks!”
Despite getting engaged quickly – the couple are so fresh he's still single on the last released episode of Made in Chelsea – the couple have no intent on rushing down the aisle.
The pair are currently aiming to tie the knot in 2027.
