Luann De Lesseps Confirms Kim Joel Booster Apologized to Love Hotel Cast for Lashing Out at Shannon Beador, Says She Felt Bad for RHOC Star, and Shares Thoughts on RHONY Cast, Plus Addresses Potential RHONJ Reboot

Luann de Lesseps addressed Shannon Beador‘s drama with Love Hotel host Joel Kim Booster while appearing on Thursday’s episode of Melissa Gorga‘s podcast.

As she also shared her thoughts on the new cast members of The Real Housewives of New York City and weighed in on the future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, 59-year-old Luann revealed that Joel, 36, offered an apology to the cast of the Peacock series after slamming the 60-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County cast member on Instagram earlier this month, labeling her a “pathetic drunk” and accusing her of mistreating the crew.

“I didn’t notice that it all, so it must have been kind of [an] on the side, side bar, cuz I didn’t see any of that, and I didn’t see Shannon treating anybody ill-ly,” Luann said of the feud on the October 10 episode of On Display With Melissa Gorga. “It was obviously something very personal to Joel that he got offended and then kind of lashed out and then went, ‘Oh sh*t. What did I do?’”

After Joel deleted the harsh post against Shannon, Luann said he offered an apology to the cast.

“He apologized to all of us because it affects all of us,” she explained. “I think he made a mistake for sure, and I feel bad for Shannon because I’m sure she was hurt by it and he mentioned her children.”

Moving on to the RHONY cast, Luann said she didn’t know them all.

“I like [Erin Lichy]. I like [Ubah Hassan], I know, and [Brynn Whitfield],” she said. “The other girls I don’t know well at all.”

When Melissa, 45, then asked Luann how she thought producers would proceed with season 15 of RHONJ, the Bravolebrity suspected a partial recasting was impending.

“I would say that they would keep their cast members that work and add a couple of newbies, change up the potion. It’s not the love potion right now,” she noted.

“No, it is not. It is the hate potion. It’s a very dark potion,” Melissa agreed.

“The world is dark enough without having to watch a show that feels very dark and heavy, so hopefully they will meld cast,” Luann concluded. “I think that’s something that New York could have done, but now it’s a little late to that party. It’s not too late for you, though.”
