JUST when we thought Love Island couldn't get any better, the drama has just reached fever pitch!
Footballer Harrison Solomon has left the villa after the most dramatic love triangle in the show's 10-year history reached its climax.
Why did Harrison leave Love Island?
The tension in the Villa has been palpable over the last few days since the islanders returned from Casa Amor.
Casa Amor never fails to inject a bit of drama into a gradually settling villa, but this year's has been particularly corrosive for one couple.
With the love triangle between Harrison, Toni and Lauren keeping everyone gripped since Harrison and Lauren returned together from Casa Amor, it's not surprising that many are upset by the news he has left.
Harrison left the villa late on Thursday night, following days of drama over which girl he wanted to be with.
With a recent recoupling, the 22-year-old got back with Toni, after she chose him.
The decision to leave now means American beauty Toni is single and with the arrival of a new bombshell, there's soon going to be too many girls for the guys to choose between...
What have Love Island said?
Since the shock departure, everyone has been wanting to know the exact detail as to why he left.
A source from Love Island said: "It's been a momentous few days for Harrison and ultimately he has decided to quit.
"Everyone was so shocked and people were crying and hugging him.
"He worked through everything with the ITV duty of care team and is making his way home to his family now."
Was it written in the stars?
In recent days, the tension which had been simmering under the surface after Casa Amor boiled over, as Harrison finally admitted to having some sexy sessions with Lauren Wood, despite telling beau Toni Laites something different.
Toni was completely oblivious to this, thinking her man had only kissed Lauren.
Viewers have also seen tensions between the two girls rise as they fight over him.
As a result, viewers were even further enraged when, controversially, the footballer pleaded with Toni ahead of the recoupling, hiding the truth about him and Lauren.
Islanders were left shell-shocked when Toni actually chose to couple up with the two-timer, snubbing her former couple Cach Mercer and Harrison's Lauren, in the process.
Last night's episode included a tense challenge which saw the couples decide who should place first, second and third after a number of questions were put to the public.
Among them were "which couple is coasting?", "who is the biggest game player?" and "who is in the most one-sided relationship?".
There was a familiar theme with Harrison and Toni, Dejon Williams and Meg Moore, and Harry Cooksley and Helena Ford making up the top three in most categories.
What's for certain is that now that Harrison has left the villa, the drama is still going to continue!
