TV star Sam Thompson's Love Island romance with Samie Elishi only started recently, but it has already been hit with claims the pair had split – which the Mirror can now reveal are not true.
Made in Chelsea star Sam and Samie were pictured kissing in public just a few weeks ago, but it's since been claimed their spark has 'fizzled out' – reports which have since been denied by those close to Sam. Sam's new romance, which is very much still on, comes following the end of his five year romance with Zara McDermott.
Samie has jetted abroad for a sun-soaked trip with Space NK, alongside fellow former Love Islanders Maura Higgins, Amber Gill and Lana Jenkins. Meanwhile, Sam is n the UK focussing on projects of his own as he's currently training for Soccer Aid coming up next month.
The pair began dating shortly after Samie returned from South Africa after taking part in Love Island: All Stars. The bombshell failed to find a connection after attempting to form a connection with Luca Bish.
The split rumours and denial from those close to Sam comes just weeks after Samie broke her silence on her romance with Sam. The 25-year-old was coy when discussing the potential of her new relationship with Sam on Chloe Mediumship's We Talk To The Dead Podcast. Speaking on her past relationships, Samie said she always had a negative gut instinct.
However, the star revealed things were different this time. Asked if she had the same gut feeling in her current relationship, Samie said: "There’s been no bad stuff at the minute so yeah I suppose it is all positive right now. It’s early days."
Sam's connection with Samie came shortly after his ex Zara McDermott went public with One Direction star Louis Tomlinson. Zara and Louis are still going strong, with the pair spotted enjoying a romantic holiday in Costa Rica.
It was recently reported that Louis splashed out thousands of pounds to fly Zara 5,000 miles to join him while in Costa Rica while he's working on his upcoming album.
Zara has already gained approval from Louis' sisters, as Lottie Tomlinson, 26, confirmed exclusively to OK!, that she’s met Zara and has only good things to say about her.
“Yeah, she is amazing, and they are really happy. I’m really happy for him,” she said, clearly pleased to see her brother in a good place.
