LOVE Island All Stars' Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu defended her fiery row with co-star Elma Pazar saying her outburst was "who I am."
Ekin-Su, 30, and Elma, 32, made headlines with their ongoing arguments during the most recent season of the ITV reality dating series.
Ekin-Su, who rose to fame on a previous season of Love Island, defended her spat with Towie star Elma saying it was because she was a "very passionate woman" during an appearance on Jamie Laing's Good Company podcast.
The bad blood between the pair began during the Heart Rate challenge when Elma became annoyed at Ekin-Su giving her man, Sammy Root, a peck on the lips while performing a sexy dance for the fellas at the fire pit.
“Listen, I'm a very passionate woman, and if no one was on that fire pit, if there was no cameras, I would have done a Fifty Shades of Grey scene," Ekin-Su said on the podcast. "But you know, it is what it is... I don't care."
"It's a game, whatever [a] challenge, the Elma thing was carried on for days. But listen, I live in the moment. I let my hair down. I don't care. I'm having fun. Whether it's a show or not, it's who I am. I'll do it in private too. You know,” Ekin-Su added.
The reality star explained that she, “wanted to go in the hideaway that night, and they wouldn’t let us," leading to both her and Elma becoming "frustrated" and it "was like we just wanted to get out because, honey, I would not be doing anything in there, because you can hear it on the cameras."
Ekin-Su and Elma's row kicked off in the days after the Heart Rate challenge when the former confronted her friend-turned-enemy.
"I feel like ever since the heart rate challenge there's been a weird grudge between you two and us," she said to Elma and Sammy.
"It's always you two in every single game, I'm tired of it," Ekin-Su said and then lashed out at Elma for swearing at her partner, Curtis Pritchard.
"The way you've told Curtis to shut up and f**k off I really don't agree with. No one talks to my man like that."
Sammy then told her: "Just breathe for a sec... this doesn't have to get out of hand, we can just talk."
But a fuming Elma was not having any of it and told Ekin-Su: "Do sh**ty things, get sh**ty prizes, babe."
The eventual winner of Love Island All Stars, Gabby Allen, defended Elma saying the Towie star had received death threats when she got out of the villa and fans of the show did not get to see the full picture of what happened.
“I think Elma got painted in a really bad light," Gabby told Closer.
“She came out and she was getting lots of death threats and really awful things being said to her and all I know, apparently, is that a lot of the stuff that made Elma react in a certain way hasn’t been shown.”
Gabby added: “Elma is actually an amazing person, she’s so kind. Yes, she’s vocal, but that’s just the way she is and I think everybody needs to take it with a pinch of salt how she’s been portrayed because it’s not entirely accurate.”
Gabby won the series alongside Casey O’Gorman in a nail-biting finale.
