Love Island’s Ekin-Su breaks silence on romance with MAFS’ Georges after pair spotted looking cosy - suong

EKIN-SU Cülcüloğlu has shut down rumours that she's dating Married At First Sight UK groom Georges Berthonneau.

The pair were spotted looking cosy after earlier this month in a car together after a gym workout.

But Love Island star Ekin-Su, 30, has now said that she's not romantically involved with fitness coach Georges, 30.

Ekin-Su admitted she's on celebrity dating app Raya and is hoping to strike lucky with a new fella.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Ekin-Su said: "No I'm not dating, I'm single.

"That's not true [not dating Georges], it's how it works - you get seen with someone. I know him [Georges] but we're not dating.

"I'm open, I'm on dating sites, I think Raya but I've had no luck at the minute.

"I'm just focusing on my career but I am open to dating."

When asked if she had been on any recent dates, Ekin-Su paused and laughed, before replying: "No comment."

"I hope there is someone out there for me because it's time, I'm 30 and I want to settle down eventually," she told us at the Beauty Awards 2024.

The Turkish beauty, who split from ex Davide Sanclimenti in January 2024, said she has spent the last 12 months healing.

She admitted she has no bad blood with her ex and wishes all the best for the future.

The Traitors US star added: "I think now I am healed and I wish Davide the best. I have nothing bad to say.

"You know sometimes when you're healing and you have something bad to say. But I just want him to be happy and if I see him, I'll say hi."

New woman

Attending the glamorous event, Ekin said she has become a better version of herself since turning 30.

"My beauty tip would probably be...being happy and being content and getting rid of anything that makes you unhappy - beauty comes from within," she said.

"Once your happy on the inside, it shows on the out.

"I'm the happiest I've been in years, since I've turned 30 I'm a new woman.

"Living each day and grateful that I'm alive and that my parents are alive and that there is a roof over my head and just being in the moment and being grateful, because we never really take a minute to just take a step back and understand that one day we're not going to be here.

"Life's too short, everything has an expiry date and there's no need to rush that.

"So just enjoy the ride. There's always going to be highs and there's always going to be lows.

"But every mistake you make is a lesson and I never regret any of my mistakes.

Ekin-Su, who was a huge hit on Traitors US, teased at a return stateside for a new TV project next year.

"It's a surprise, I can't tell you, US is my market as well as UK. I would just sure you keep your eyes peeled for the US as well," she hinted.

"I love the UK, I'm living here, it depends what the right thing for me to do is."

Earlier this month, Ekin-Su and MAFS star Georges left fans convinced they were an item.

Georges, who was married to Peggy on the show last year, has made no secret of his feelings towards Ekin and begged the reality star to call him during a podcast over six months ago.

And it seems she did, with the pair looking close as they were spotted for the first time.

In September, Georges gushed to The Sun about a new romance, telling us: "I just listened to my heart.

"I met the individual. I'm not going to go into too much detail, but you know, it's just been everything that I've dreamed of."

Ekin won Love Island with her ex Davide in 2022.

The pair had a tricky time after leaving the villa and the on-off couple finally called it quits for good in January this year - a month before Ekin-Su’s stint on Celebrity Big Brother.

She has previously told how Davide’s "endless deceit" led to the breakdown of their 18-month relationship.

Georges had a similarly difficult and public split from Peggy Lawrence.
