LOVE Island winner Sammy Root is set to come face to face with his ex as he prepares to enter as a bombshell.
Series 10 champ Sammy, 23, will reportedly step back into the spotlight this Sunday as he joins the All Stars cast in South Africa.
According to MailOnline, the reality star, who also joined Towie last summer, is making another attempt to find love by re-entering the famous villa.
Sammy’s return comes after his breakup with ex-girlfriend Jess Harding, 24, just two months after the pair left the villa in 2023 as champions with the £50,000 prize.
Jess told Sammy their relationship was over by phone - before news of their split leaked online while she was partying in Ibiza with pals last year.
Since their separation, Sammy has been linked to Love Island and Towie alum Elma Pazar, 31, who is currently taking part in the show, and season 11 star Samantha Kenny, 27.
The Sun has contacted ITV for comment.
Back in November, Sammy dropped a big hint that he could be set for an All Stars comeback.
He told us in an exclusive interview: “What I can say is what happened last year is a life I still relive now.
“I miss it a lot, and right now I am very, very, very single. I am single Sammy.
“Don’t get me wrong I love a date and I love a little flirt, so with All Stars I’d never say never.
“My type is petite, brunette and pretty.”
Sammy continued: “I am single as it stands and not dating anyone, so a Christmas cuddle would be nice don’t get me wrong, but not a Christmas relationship, not just yet.
“Unless it comes out of the blue and I fall head over heels of course, but that would be very unusual for me.”
