Love Island: All Stars' Gabby Allen said she had no clue she and Casey O'Gorman would receive a £50,000 cash prize after being crowned the winners.
On Monday night, viewers tuned in to the final as they watched at the edge of their seats while host Maya Jama announced the winners of the series. In third place came Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard while Grace Jackson and Luca Bish were runners up in the series finale.
Gabby and Casey looked gobsmacked to be announced as winners and the former was further shocked to learn she would win a cash prize. The couple went on Love Island : The Morning After podcast and chatted about their experience in the villa with host Amy Hart.
"You're about to have a little windfall into your bank. £50,000 between you, £25,000 each. What are you going to spend it on?" Amy asked. Gabby, who looked bewildered by the news, said: "You know, I didn't even know that was a thing?" Amy asked: "Did you not?" before Gabby responded: "'Until just now, I didn't even know that that's what you won."

Amy went on to joke whether producers ask for bank details before adding: "Have you got your sort code please?" Love Island winners usually win the £50,000 but Gabby assumed those returning for the All Stars version wouldn't take home anything.
"It was only tonight that I heard because I didn't think on All Stars that you actually got winnings," the TV personality admitted. Casey nodded his head before he leaned towards Gabby and said: "Bonus." Casey’s win comes after he entered the show a jaw-dropping three years on the trot, first doing the original version in 2023 before coming back for all stars in both 2024 and this year.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans joked that the show was “rigged” by producers in the hopes that by giving Casey a win he’d stop returning to the villa every year. “Love Island had to crown Casey the winner - they didn't want him back in the Summer,” one person said, with another adding: “They handed Casey the win so he would stop coming back every January.”
“Maybe we don’t have to see Casey back on our screens ever again .. and for the love of god no love island games,” said a third, as a fourth joked: “I just know the airport staff are sick of seeing him.”
