Callum starred on the ITV2 dating show in 2019 and became the first Islander to be dumped from the villa after he wasn't chosen to be in a couple.
He previously spoke about his regrets over his time in the villa, confessing he should have been tougher.
Speaking on This Morning, the aircraft engineer from South Wales - who quit his job to appear on the show - reflected on his five days on the show.
Discussing his approach to finding love, he reasoned: 'I was a little bit [too soft].
'I told them this before I went in, I said "I'm not that type of guy", I wouldn't go in and take a girl. And any girl that Tommy [Fury] fancied, I wouldn't go anywhere near them!'
Callum was initially coupled up with Amber Gill, but it quickly transpired that their relationship was purely platonic.
With hindsight, Callum confessed that he should have given other girls in the villa a chance, admitting: 'I would recouple with Amy [Hart] or Anna [Vakili] as we were very similar.'
