The arrival of new bombshells in the Love Island: All Stars villa has ruffled a few feathers amongst the stars - particularly with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. Last night's episode saw the star storm off from Curtis Pritchard, who she's coupled up with, after he went for a Hideaway sleepover with new bombshell Danielle Sellers - and the fallout is only set to continue tonight.
Love Island runner-up Nicole Samuel has given her take on the situation, revealing to The Mirror's Bombshell Briefing that Ekin-Su was right to react in that way due to the intensity of villa life. Speaking in an exclusive interview with hosts Lauren Morris and Niamh Kirk, Nicole said: "I'm going to be hated for this, but I think Ekin was in the right.
"I know people are going to come for me on this one, right? I think in there, you're with each other 24 hours a day, one day honestly feels like one week. You get to know each other so fast because you're around each other 24/7 and I think you don't go in and close something off and say, 'I'm not interested in anyone else,' to suddenly walk back in and say, 'Oh hold on, let's open the book again. I want to explore more.'
"If you're closed off, that's it. You've got to get to that point where you're like, 'I'm ready, I'm settled, I know you, I want to be with you.' You can't say, 'Oh hang on actually the new fresh meat is coming in and I want to get to know you.'"
She added that Curtis should not have played "mind games" with the Love Island star. "I feel like Curtis has done wrong by opening the book again. If he didn't say that he was closed off and he still was exploring, fair enough, go and get to know people because that's what you're in there for. But don't say, 'Right, I'm 100 percent committed to you.' And then 'Actually now I feel like I maybe want to explore more with others again.' It's a bit of mind games."
Earlier today, Curtis' ex Amy Hart came to his defence in the argument, saying on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast that he's a "nice guy who doesn't want to upset people".
The Mirror's Love Island Bombshell Briefing streams weekly on The Mirror website and platforms. Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
