Love Island's Samie Elishi issued an emotional plea for trolls to stop sending "disgusting messages." Samie shared a photo of former Love Island host Caroline Flack, who tragically passed away in 2020 after a battle with her mental health.
Along with the photo, Samie wrote: "A beautiful women was lost due to mental health and I'm seeing some of the vile messages my friends in this industry are receiving (including myself) people are very quick to forget that we are not fictional characters and you never know what's going on inside someone's head and what they are struggling with.
"Everyone taking time to send these disgusting messages should be ashamed, it's not too late to apologise and take back your 'heat of the moment' comments. Be a better person today."
She finalised the post with a statement that read: "In a world where you can be ANYTHING be KIND. Don't be naïve and quick to forget how your words impact people's lives."
Samie left the villa just over a week ago, alongside Danielle Sellers. She found herself single when Luca chose to stay with her rival, Grace Jackson, in a dramatic recoupling.
Before returning for All Stars, Samie and Luca had a bit of history, with it being revealed earlier in the series that Luca had messaged her outside of the villa. Samie showed interest in Luca when she entered as a bombshell, but he only had eyes for Grace.
Kaz Crossley, who was dumped from the dating show a few weeks ago, recently explained that Luca had been messaging Samie on Instagram before they both decided to join the 2025 All Stars series. Adding even more fuel to the fire, Kaz told Luca that Samie fancied him and thinks he's 'really good looking'. It would all be the perfect situation if it wasn't for the fact that Luca and Grace have been coupled up for weeks and have developed deep feelings for one another.
In her tell-all TikTok video about the dramatic love-triangle, Kaz told her followers: "Hear me out. I love Luca and Grace together, when I was in the villa, they were literally like this [clasps hands together], inseparable. But did you notice when Samie walked into the villa and all the boys were laughing and pointing at Luca and was basically like "ha, you're f**ked!". It's because Luca has not stopped talking about Samie.
"We know that Luca fancies Samie. So that is why he is being - you notice how he's been a little bit off, he's not really talking, he's trying to in his head navigate how he's going to go about this situation, because he knows that he has been on Samie for a while."
Kaz then confirmed that she was the friend who confessed to Luca that Samie fancies him. "When I was in a friendship couple with Luca, I may or may not have relayed the information that Samie fancies him.
"Me being the good pal that I was, trying to get his hopes up and make sure that he wasn't sad and miserable, I told him that I hope she comes in because I know that she would go for you. And of course this really perked him up. That's why the boys have reacted this way because he has mentioned so many times that he's on her, so I would really like for him to come out of his shell.
"I'm not saying that he should fumble Grace, I'm just saying that you can't lock off potential connections that you have been wanting for a while, like not even on the show, since before the show, just because you're in a happy couple."
