CASA Amor beauty Lauren Wood has already been part of the show this series, The Sun can reveal.
Lauren was one of this year’s guinea pig Islanders for Love Island’s ‘dry run’ in May and execs loved her so much, they cherry picked her to return.
It means she could quickly be deemed a "producer plant" by viewers.
Every year a group of stand-ins move into the villa before the real cast arrive to allow the crew to test camera angles, sound, and whether furniture and fittings are all ready for eight weeks’ work.
A source said: “Lauren was one of the dry run Islanders but bosses loved her so guaranteed her a slot in Casa Amor.
“Fans will feel like she’s going in there as a producer plant as she’s been specially chosen and has the added advantage of having been among crew, in the villa, and knows how everything works.
“Certainly it’ll help her feel a bit more comfortable and confident.
“There’s been other Islanders in the past who went from a dry runner to full cast.
2023's winner Sanam Harrinanan was part of the dry run cast and then went all the way.”
Lauren’s slot in Casa was revealed by The Sun earlier, and she will join newbies including Lucy Quinn and Yasmin Broom in their quest to turn an OG boy’s head.
Also heading into the show for the infamous twist are Andrada Pop, Rheo Parnell and Harry's ex-girlfriend, Emma Munro.
Viewers caught their first glimpse of the rival girls last night when, in a new twist, the Casa Amor women walked straight into the main villa whilst the OG girls were still in situ.
The Casa boys will be revealed tomorrow.
Lauren shows off her ripped figure in a series of lingerie snaps on her Instagram, while documenting lavish nights out in Manchester and holidays in Thailand.
She counts Chris Hughes and Chris Clark as friends, who are both Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson's exes.
An ITV spokesman declined to comment.
