LOVE Island fans think they've spotted proof viewers "skipped a day" before filming the "most brutal Casa Amor recoupling of all time".
A flurry of fan theories have taken over Reddit and X, formerly Twitter, after viewers noticed a telling detail in Tuesday night’s episode – and it all centres around Toni’s nails.
During a morning conversation with Casa Amor bombshell Cash, Toni was spotted wearing a particular green nail design.
But just hours later, at the infamous recoupling, she appeared with an entirely different set.
This led ITV2 viewers to believe there was a full day inbetween that viewers weren’t shown.
One Reddit user wrote: “In yesterday’s episode while talking to Cash in the morning, Toni had different nails and in the recoupling she had different nails."
Another added: "I think there was a down day in between the end of Casa for the Islanders and filming the actual recoupling.”
Someone else claimed: “There is a down day because in the Season 8 podcast they said there was a down day before the recoupling.”
Over on X, another fan echoed the suspicion, tweeting: “Casa Amor lasted more than 2 days. Toni had a different nail set during the day – new colour & design.
"They don’t film on Saturdays (self-care day like nails), so Casa must’ve started before Friday in Spain, but we’re only seeing 2 days of it."
While fans were busy playing detective, the Islanders were hit with brutal consequences.
Rheo, Emily, Gio, Yaz, Chris and Martin were all dumped from the villa after failing to find solid connections during Casa Amor.
The shock exits came as those left single were immediately sent packing, with Maya Jama fronting the show’s most dramatic recoupling yet.
Maya didn’t hold back, calling out Helena for laughing at Harry’s behaviour - and taking aim at Harry himself for how he treated Rheo in the second villa.
After returning alone despite sharing a bed with Rheo, Harry was questioned by Maya about his actions.
“How was your time with the boys in Casa?” she asked.
Rheo coolly replied: “Interesting, to be honest.”
When Maya pressed further, Rheo said: “I don’t think I need to explain what he may have been up to over there. Harry strikes again.”
Harry snapped: “You can elaborate.”
Helena, curious, added: “Yeah, how bad are we talking?”
“Kisses in bed, cuddles…” Rheo answered calmly.
That’s when Emma jumped in: “Endgame? Didn’t you say endgame?”
Harry admitted: “Potentially, yeah… but it’s not, because I’ve known her for three days.”
Emma wasn’t having it: “So you lied.”
“I think I was just exploring the connection,” Harry replied.
Maya turned to the other Casa girls: “Is there anything you want to add?”
Andrada didn’t hold back: “I asked Harry if he missed Helena and he said he didn’t.”
Helena laughed: “I probably said I didn’t miss him either,” but Maya cut in: “I don’t know, I probably wouldn’t find that funny if I was in a couple with someone like that.”
Turning to Helena again, she asked: “You laugh quite a lot when he’s doing things like this. Is that to avoid being upset - or are you genuinely not bothered?”
Helena admitted: “It’s not that I’m not bothered, I’m just not surprised.”
Rheo added gently: “But do you not think you deserve more? You do.”
Trying to justify himself, Harry said: “If I wanted to come back with Rheo I would’ve coupled up with her…”
But Maya hit back: “That doesn’t excuse everything that happened.”
Harry shrugged: “I just do what feels right in the moment.”
“And say sorry after?” Rheo asked.
Harry smirked: “Then deal with it in the morning usually.”
