Love Island viewers were left confused during Tuesday evening’s episode wondering where one of the contestants was noticeably missing from the proceedings.
The start of the show started with a bang as it was revealed three couples – Chuggs Wallis and Tina Stines, Ronnie Vint and Harriett Blackmore, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard – were up for eviction after being picked by the other couples.
Annoyed by the results, Harriet ended up telling Casey O’Gorman to “shut the f*** up,” which didn’t go down well with him and caused a huge rift in the villa that seemed to last the entire show.
However, while the drama unravelled with cross words and friendships ending, viewers at home were more interested in where contestant Elma Pazar had been throughout the episode.
Elma, 32, who is currently coupled up with Sammy Roots, 23, was noticeably missing. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, people were quick to question where the TV personality had been all day.
One user asked: “Where was elma last night then #LoveIslandAllStars.” Another person penned: “wait why did Elma take a break though ? I’m so lost ????” A third user worried: "I hope Elma is OK!" But someone else joked: “Been quite glad of the break from Elma this episode.”
After a brief break Elma was back for the fire pit dumping, and even more mysteriously, Love Island host Maya Jama referenced her absence by asking her if she had been happy with her partner Sammy's decisions during the challenge, but no further detail was given.
Despite the dumping that occurs on Monday evening's episode, the stars are still reeling from their To Be Honest challenge. Casey discussed his argument with Harriett telling Sammy: “She hasn’t even apologised…it’s so rude.” Casey and Harriett then have a chat and Harriett says: “I’m sorry for saying shut the f**k up, I didn't mean it in that way, it’s just the way we speak to each other…just chill out.”
Casey adds: “No it’s not…imagine if I told you to shut the f**k up…I’d never be that rude.” However, Harriett was left upset by Luca who she thinks hasn’t defended her, telling Ronnie the next day: “I’m done with Luca… he doesn’t understand why I’m upset…I’d never let someone bad mouth my friend."
