“Southern Charm” star Shep Rose opened up about his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Ann Green.
During an appearance on the December 27 episode of Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge‘s podcast, “Two Ts In A Pod,” Rose shared his thoughts about Green, whom he split from in 2022. While recording the podcast episode, Mellencamp referenced that Green said she would advise Rose’s future romantic partners to not “expect to finish” in “Southern Charm” season 9. Rose said he took issue with her comment, deeming it “tacky as hell.”
“I would never comment on anybody in bed on national television,” said Rose.
He also suggested that he believed Green was content in their nearly 2-year long relationship because she wanted to marry him.
“That’s ridiculous. I mean she wanted me to ask her to marry her,” said Rose on the podcast episode.
Rose clarified that he still cares about Green and her family.
“I want all the best for her. I want all these good things to happen for her,” said Rose.
In addition, Rose said he believes he took Green’s “absolute love and affection for [him]” for granted during their relationship.
“I definitely put her through some [expletive],” said Rose.
Rose, who is currently single, also shared that he and Green are not friends.
“That’s not my choice,” said Rose.
Taylor Ann Green Reacted to Shep Rose’s Comments on ‘Southern Charm’
While filming a confessional interview for the 10th season of “Southern Charm,” Rose said that he “know[s] that [Green’s] mom and dad wish she was still with [him].” He also said that her “whole family,” including her grandparents, felt the same. Decider reported that Green reacted to his remarks in two December 2024 Instagram Stories.
“Yeah, I’m gonna pop off here for a second, publicly. Let me shout from the mountain tops that both my parents, my grandparents, and yes, even my recently late grandfather all couldn’t be happier that I’ve moved on and am in a much better, happier and healthier relationship. So this comment SENDS me. What planet do you live on bro…” wrote Green in her Instagram post.
Green also said that Rose was not faithful in their relationship.
“You cheated on me 4 times (that I know of) and you think my family wishes I was still with you???? DELUSIONAL,” continued Green.
In the December 2024 “Two Ts In A Pod” interview, Rose clarified that he no longer believes Green’s family wish they were back together.
Taylor Ann Green Shared Insight Into Her Relationship With Her New Boyfriend
During a December 2024 interview with Us Weekly, Green said her relationship with her boyfriend of over a year, Gaston Rojas, is “going really well.” In addition, she said that she wants to “protect this relationship because he is very special to [her].”
Green also suggested that she does not want to include much of her relationship with Rojas on “Southern Charm.”
“I’ll probably try my best to shy away from it,” said Green to Us Weekly.
