"Lisa Barlow Stirs Controversy: Boldly Defends Real Fur, Declares 'It's Back In Style'"-quang

Consider yourself warned, animal lovers. Lisa Barlow isn’t going to take any crap for wearing real fur. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star has declared that fur is “back in,” and she plans to keep rocking the real thing.

Now, it’s not like we’re just sitting around expecting Lisa to be on the right side of history, but the lengths she’s going to defend her choice to wear real fur is bizarre, even for her.

Is faux fur old news?

Truthfully, nobody is looking to the cast of RHOSLC for any cues on fashion, but Us Weekly asked Lisa about her bold choice to wear fur regularly. During their chat, she stood ten toes down on her love for the real thing. She says it’s on trend, and apparently, the multitude of cruelty-free, faux options just don’t cut it for her.

“I’m always a fur girl,” Lisa proudly declared. “I know it’s so controversial, but I love wearing fur.”

When previously confronted on this topic, Lisa said that wearing the real thing was “better for than environment.” At this point, it seems like she’s just begging for a visit from PETA. Still, she continued on her pro-fur rant and said that there’s nothing inhumane about her fashion choices. Instead, she said that animal lovers need to do more research on the ins and outs of the animal fur industry.

“I think if you really do your homework, you’ll see if they’re made sustainably,” Lisa claimed. “It’s, like, major for you to wear that as opposed to faux fur.”

Lisa and her furs return to our screens when the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City premieres on Bravo, September 18 at 9/8c.
