Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow haven’t always seen eye to eye, but RHOSLC Season 5 may be their friendship downfall.
The premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 showed Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow going at it, and right now, there’s no signs of their feud stopping.
In the above preview for Season 5, Episode 2 of RHOSLC — set to air Wednesday, Sept. 25 — Whitney takes a dig at Lisa while the cast are sitting together for a group meal. “At a basic human level, if someone is being vulnerable with you and telling you about their trauma, do not weaponize it to hurt them,” she advises.
In case you missed it, this is a direct reference to the text messages that Lisa sent Whitney, in which she shadily told her to “keep healing.”
Lisa, for her part, counters by expressing her hurt from one of Whitney’s podcast interviews (more specifically, Whitney calling her a villain and claiming that she "doesn't care about anything else other than being right").
“All you do is talk in feelings," Lisa says in the preview. "Start talking in facts and then we can have a good conversation."
The two continue to go back and forth at the table, each calling each other a “sh-tty friend." Eventually, the heated conversation ends with Whitney giving Lisa an apology for her podcast remarks, which she accepts.
However, in doing so, Lisa recognizes that the move is just the start of what it will take to fully repair their relationship. As she puts it in a confessional interview, “I appreciate the apology. It doesn’t take away from the fact that we still have issues."
