Lions Send 3-Word Message After Buccaneers-Commanders Thriller

The divisional round of the NFL playoffs is nearly set, with a bout between the Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings set to play on Monday night.

The winner of Monday night's game will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles, who took down the Green Bay Packers with a dominant 22-10 win. On the other side of the NFC bracket, the Detroit Lions were awaiting their opponent after clinching a first round bye with a dominant victory over the Vikings in the final week of the regular season.

With the Washington Commanders pulling off an upset victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday night thanks to a walk-off field goal from Zane Gonzalez, Dan Quinn is headed to the divisional round in his first season with the team.

"I felt like I was in a Bounty commercial where the cup spills and like, 'nooooo,'" Quinn said after the game as he watched the kick sail through the air. "As it went through, I just paused and probably skipped a beat, but that's the emotion where it was at."

His reward is a battle against arguably the best team in the league - on their home turf. Ahead of a matchup between the Commanders and Lions, the latter issued a three-word message before the game.

"See you Saturday," the team said on social media showing details from the looming contest.

The Lions opened as a 5.5-point favorite over Washington once the matchup was solidified, but that line has dipped even further in Detroit's favor with Jared Goff and company sitting as an eight-point favorite as of Monday morning.

Detroit and Washington kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday night. The game will be broadcast on Fox.
