Lions' Kerby Joseph Sends 6-Word Message on Pro Bowl Snub

The Detroit Lions are preparing for their biggest game of the season against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night at Ford Field amid a storm of controversy involving safety Kerby Joseph.

Joseph, the former Illinois Fighting Illini star and growing NFL star, has nine interceptions on the season to lead the league and has improved his play seemingly every week for defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn's team.

On Thursday, Joseph, sent a six-word message on his perceived snub from the recently announced Pro Bowl rosters.

Joseph said that he values the All-Pro team more, calling it the "real recognition."

"I'm not really worried about it (the Pro Bowl), you know what I'm saying," Joseph added, "because I'm focused on the Super Bowl, I wasn't going to go to the Pro Bowl no way."

Joseph has nine interceptions on the season after two key ones against the 49ers this past Monday night.

That puts him two clear of the NFL's second place interception leader, Xavier McKinney of the Green Bay Packers, for first in the league heading into the Lions' final game against Sam Darnold and the Vikings.

Detroit is a 2.5-favorite for the contest, which will determine the winner of the NFC North on "Sunday Night Football."
