Lindsay Hubbard has been navigating major life changes—on and off camera. Between her pregnancy, her baby’s arrival, and rumors she may be joining “The Real Housewives of New York,” the “Summer House” star has remained firmly in the Bravo spotlight. But one person in her life has stayed completely behind the scenes: her boyfriend and the father of her child, Turner Kufe.
In a recent interview, Hubbard explained why fans haven’t seen Kufe on “Summer House,” despite his central role in her real life. She also offered new insight into what her future on the show might look like now that she’s a mom.
Why Turner Kufe Stays Off-Camera
Hubbard, 38, gave birth to a daughter, Gemma, in December 2024 with boyfriend Kufe, 36. Though the pregnancy played out in Season 9 of “Summer House,” fans never saw Kufe onscreen—and that’s entirely by design.
“You know, it’s tough when you’re dealing with a job in finance,” Hubbard told Life & Style of Kufe’s profession. “We’ve seen this. Kyle [Cooke] and I talk about it all the time. Even with our friends who are in finance, they’ve never been able to film with us throughout the years. It’s a very strict industry when it comes to publicity. They are just not allowed to have any publicity.”
She added, “I obviously need the father of my child to keep his job, and we know that I really need the father of my child to keep his job. So, we’re all out here hustling in every way that we can.”
Although Turner is absent from the show, he’s been a huge part of Lindsay’s life off-camera. In earlier interviews with People, Hubbard described him as “nerdy,” “fun,” and “so normal.” During the “Summer House” premiere, she joked, “I found myself a (expletive) normie and I love it.”
The two first dated in 2020 but went their separate ways due to timing. After Hubbard’s highly publicized breakup with Carl Radke in 2023, Kufe reentered her life in December of that year. By January, they were officially back together—and by December, they were parents.
Lindsay Hubbard on Her Future on ‘Summer House’
As for what’s next, Hubbard made it clear she’s still a “Hamptons girly” at heart. “I’ve been going out to the Hamptons since I interned in the city, and I worked in the Hamptons to make money,” she said in the Life & Style interview. “I would always come back to “Summer House” no matter what.”
But motherhood has changed her perspective. “I’m a mom now and I can’t live in a party house with my six-month-old daughter,” she admitted. “I would definitely come back to the show,” she added, hinting that a “friend-of” role might be more realistic for Season 10.
Despite the logistical challenges, Hubbard continues to balance motherhood, filming, and her Bravo fan base. And though Kufe might remain behind the camera, his impact on her life is clear.
She told People that his return felt like divine timing: “There I was at 37 years old, staring down the barrel of being single… and then this incredible man comes back into my life and next thing you know, I’m pregnant. It’s like the universe was saying, ‘See? This is the time. This is the guy.’”
New episodes of “Summer House” air Wednesdays on Bravo.
