As “Summer House” season 9 continues to delight, fans of Bravo’s Hamptons-based hit are already buzzing about what’s next, especially when it comes to longtime cast member Lindsay Hubbard. The reality star welcomed daughter Gemma in December and has spoken candidly about her uncertain future on the show, navigating new motherhood, and even the swirling rumors about a possible jump to “The Real Housewives of New York City.”
Lindsay Hubbard Talks Returning to ‘Summer House’ Next Season
With her first child on the way, Hubbard has been open about the challenges of returning to a party-focused show like “Summer House” as a new mom. On Bravo’s “Hot Mic” podcast with Alex Baskin, she acknowledged the complexity of the situation, sharing, “I know that executives and I are trying to figure it out, and I think it’s pretty clear that, obviously, by next summer, my daughter will be 7 or 8 months old. I’m not gonna bring my 8-month-old daughter to the summer house every weekend, to a party house.”
Still, Hubbard hasn’t ruled out a return. “Of course [I’m] down to film this summer,” she said in a new interview with Vulture. “But obviously I’m not going to bring a 6-month-old to the house every weekend.”

She also emphasized the idea of a flexible filming schedule: “At the very minimum, we can film me in my life in the city if I’m not physically living at the house every weekend,” adding that she’ll still be spending weekends in the Hamptons.
Hubbhouse on Those ‘RHONY’ Rumors and a Media Spat with West Wilson
While Hubbard’s future on “Summer House” remains in limbo, another Bravo franchise might be calling her name. Rumors have been circulating that she could be joining the cast of “RHONY” as necessary casting changes are being made. Though Andy Cohen confirmed on “Andy Cohen Live” that Bravo “hasn’t really had those discussions seriously,” Lindsay herself has expressed interest in the past, saying, “I’m ready to flip tables with girls my own age anyway. So I think I was born to be a Housewife.”
However, her potential return to “Summer House” became a hot topic after fellow castmate West Wilson suggested there was “no way” she’d be back. His comments, made on the “Trading Secrets” podcast, didn’t sit well with Hubbard. On Betches’ “Mention It All” podcast, she fired back:
“I just became a mother and this is my job and I need to be a provider for my daughter… You saying, ‘There’s no way,’ is really (expletive) up.”
She continued, “What is with these guys publicly doing things and then expecting people to not publicly respond?… If you want to go, then let’s (Expletive) have a media war. I’m down.”
Hubbard even joked that Wilson is “last on the list” as a potential babysitter for baby Gemma, adding, “West is lucky if he has a job in Season 10.”
Lindsay Hubbard Fans Show Their Support for the Bravo Vet
Despite the drama, Hubbard has a strong wave of fan support behind her. On the Queens of Bravo Instagram post about the recent Vulture article, fans took to the comments to share their support for the Bravo vet.
One fan shared, “GET LINDS ON RHONY!!! Give that queen her apple!”
“Idk why Linds returning is such a hot topic. Her daughter has a mom AND A DAD and there’s no reason she couldn’t let loose a couple of weekends during the summer,” wrote another.
“Lindsay on RHONY and make some changes to Summer House like showing their real lives in NY and their day to day. Them partying all the time at their ages gets old to watch. I want to see how they are thriving,” a third offered up some ideas for both “RHONY” and “Summer House” changes.
“Ugh I (expletive) love these women. (Also please hubbhouse on RHONY),” expressed a fourth.
