“Summer House” star Lindsay Hubbard is in no rush to walk down the aisle with her boyfriend, Dr. Turner Kufe, as they prepare for the arrival of their first child.
“A lot of people have asked me over the last eight months, ‘Are you gonna live together? Are you moving in? Are you gonna get married?'” Hubbard told Entertainment Tonight in an interview published Thursday.
“Those were some things that I pretty much took off the table immediately upon finding out that we were pregnant.”
Lindsay Hubbard took marriage “off the table immediately” when she and her boyfriend, Dr. Turner Kufe, found out they were expecting.
“It’s nowhere near the top of my mind, especially after everything that happened last year,” she told Entertainment Tonight in an interview published Thursday.
“I was like, ‘Look, I am not looking for a proposal. I’m not thinking about marriage,'” she continued.
“It’s nowhere near the top of my mind — especially after everything that happened last year. I don’t even want to talk about marriage or a wedding.”
Last year, the reality star, 38, and her “Summer House” co-star Carl Radke called off their engagement just months before their wedding.
Hubbard and her “Summer House” co-star Carl Radke split in 2023 just months before their wedding.
Hubbard also said she was in no rush to move in with Kufe because she didn’t want to put “extreme pressure” on their relationship.
In May, she confirmed that she had been dating a “wonderful” old flame since January.
She announced her pregnancy in early July and revealed later that month that she would be having a baby girl.
As for her decision to not immediately move in with Kufe, Hubbard told Entertainment Tonight that she didn’t want to put “extreme pressure” on their relationship.
She and her very private beau have been dating since January.
Hubbard announced they were expecting in July.
“He lives so close to me. We’re with each other basically every night,” she explained.
Page Six confirmed the identity of Hubbard’s boyfriend in July, although the couple has chosen to keep their relationship completely out of the spotlight.
But the reality star admitted to ET that keeping their love life under wraps has not been the easiest.
Hubbard admitted it’s been a challenge to keep their romance out of the spotlight.
She told ET having a boyfriend who was “private” was “really appealing” to her at first.
“This is the first time that I’ve ever found myself in a situation where my partner and my boyfriend is a private person,” she said.
“In the beginning, I was really enjoying that he’s a private person. He’s successful in his own right, he has his own wonderful job and career and, you know, financially stable.
“That was really appealing to me, but it is very challenging, because I am a very public person.”
“But it is very challenging, because I am a very public person,” she admitted.
She said she and Kufe are having conversations about sharing their relationship on social media.
Hubbard added, “It’s also tough because this is the life that I chose and I can never really force someone to go down a very public route that I did.”
However, she confirmed that posting Kufe on social media is “part of the conversation” for the future.
“We’re working on it,” she said.
The pair hosted a co-ed baby shower on Saturday.
Earlier this month, Hubbard told Page Six they have picked out a “unique” name for their baby girl.
The parents-to-be celebrated their bundle of joy’s impending arrival over the weekend with a co-ed baby shower.
“I wanted my boyfriend to be celebrated and loved and supported by his friends and family as much as I am by my friends and family,” Hubbard told Us Weekly of the decision to have a joint shower.
Earlier this month, the Bravolebrity told Page Six she and Kufe picked out a “unique” name for their daughter that they “both really liked from the beginning.”
