Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard on Why She Still Doesn’t Live With Boyfriend Turner Kufe Amid Split Rumors, Plus If She’s in Talks to Join RHONY

The Real Housewives of New York City recently finished airing the second season of its reboot. Now, fans are wondering if there may be more changes ahead of the third installment. One name that has been brought up for the cast is Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard. She recently reacted to the honor of having her name tossed in the ring as well as opened up about why she isn’t living with her boyfriend just yet.

As fans know, Lindsay welcomed her first child into the world in December. Of course, this comes a year after her very public split from her Ex-Fiance, Carl Radke

Recently, Lindsay sat down for an interview with E News! During the conversation, she addressed the discussions surrounding her not moving in with her boyfriend, Turner Kufe. More recently, there have even been rumors of a split.

She said, “We live in New York City and I had just resigned my lease last March and found out I was pregnant in April. It’s a lot of pressure getting pregnant a few months into dating somebody. So, I wanted to take the pressure off in every other department.”

However, this doesn’t mean she doesn’t intend to move in with Turner. According to Lindsay, “Now we can have those conversations.”

In addressing some of her detractors, including Danielle Olivera, Lindsay explained, “I’m an independent woman, and I’m a strong girl. If the relationship works out, great. And if it doesn’t, we’ll figure it out. But I didn’t need to move too quickly in the relationship just because I was pregnant.”

Regarding Danielle discussing her living alone, she jokingly said, “It was just so funny because I was like, ‘Danielle, the last time around, you were telling me I was moving too fast. Now, you’re telling me I’m moving too slow. What is it?’ It’s not making sense. I’m trying to slow things down.”

She went on to gush about her boyfriend and how much of a supportive father he is by saying, “He’s incredible. He loves her so much. He was right by my side as I gave birth, and then, for the first six weeks, he had paternity leave. Now, he’s back at work, but he’s with us in the mornings and at night.”

Lindsay continued, “I’m very blessed that I have that opportunity to still work from home while taking care of her. Going through all of those milestones with her of tummy time and playtime, and she just started smiling last week. It’s just so cute to really soak up all of these moments as a new mom with my baby.”

When asked about getting engaged, she admitted, “It’s really not on my radar. Because my last relationship, it was really traumatizing how it ended with Carl. I took a step back, and I’m trying to learn from my mistakes. I got pregnant really quickly into the relationship, and that became the focus, and it’s still the focus. I’m more concerned right now about changing my baby’s diapers and her spitting up and if I can shower before 3 p.m. more than ‘let me get married.’”

According to Entertainment Now, Lindsay recently spoke to Access Hollywood about fans wanting her to join RHONY. While she’s happy about the love people have for her, Lindsay admitted, “But I think it’s not up to me. It’s just not up to me, you know, it’s up to the powers that be, and I think they need to figure it out. And it’s very flattering and amazing that you know people obviously see something in me that is made for reality TV and want to continue owing me the opportunity to entertain them on whatever platform.”

She then said, “So I just need all the powers that be to figure out what platform that is so that I can, you know, move in one direction or another.”

This comes after Lindsay has said she’s friends with some of the ladies, especially Erin Lichy, and that she would love to do the show if it made sense.

For now, fans can see Lindsay on the new season of Summer House, which starts February 12th on Bravo.
