“Summer House” star Lindsay Hubbard is sharing her thoughts about her castmate Paige DeSorbo‘s December 2024 breakup from “Southern Charm” personality Craig Conover.
During an appearance on the January 14 episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, Hubbard briefly discussed DeSorbo and Conover’s split after three years of dating. She said she empathized with the former couple because she and her ex-fiancee, Carl Radke, split while filming the 9th season of “Summer House.”
“I feel for them. As somebody who has gone through a very public breakup. I just really feel for them. And I’m sure that the decision came as the best thing for both of them. But I just feel for the public nature of it all because it sucks,” said Hubbard during the podcast episode.
Hubbard also said she texted DeSorbo immediately when she found out about her breakup. In addition, Hubbard, who has been at odds with Conover in the past, said she did not reach out to the “Southern Charm” star.
Paige DeSorbo Announced Her Split in December 2024
DeSorbo confirmed that she and Conover ended their relationship in the December 30 episode of her podcast, “Giggly Squad,” co-hosted by Hannah Berner. In the January 7 episode of the “Giggly Squad,” DeSorbo addressed rumors that she cheated on Conover with “Saturday Night Live” star Marcello Hernandez. She denied the rumors and said she apologized to Hernandez because he was receiving hateful messages from Bravo fans.
DeSorbo also said while she received support from fans, she also got some criticism for ending the relationship. In addition, she said the breakup was “the right decision for [herself].”
E! News reported that Conover discussed his split in a January 2024 Instagram Story. He said while he did not expect the breakup, he was “okay” with the situation.
Paige DeSorbo Gave Her Opinion About Lindsay Hubbard & Carl Radke’s Split
Hubbard confirmed that Radke broke up with her in August 2023, three months before they intended on marrying. DeSorbo gave her opinion about their breakup in an October 2023 interview on former “Vanderpump Rules” star Scheana Shay’s podcast, “Scheananigans with Scheana Shay.” DeSorbo said she believed Radke did both him and Hubbard a favor by not going forward with their wedding.
“In my opinion, I wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle to someone, who in the back of their head is like, ‘I don’t really want to be here.’ So and then the next time you walk down the aisle, like you don’t want to think, ‘Oh he didn’t really want to be there.’ So I think she doesn’t have to compare it to anything and in the long run, he did both of them a favor,” said DeSorbo to Shay.
