The way I am seated for Summer House Season 9.
Guess time flies when you're living vicariously through other people in the Hamptons (story of my summer) because it's somehow been an entire year since Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard broke up on Summer House.
A lot has happened since that fated moment incredibly awkward/brutal on-camera conversation, by which I mean Lindsay is (1) dating someone new (2) pregnant, and (3) filming a season of Summer House with Carl following their split.
And while the post-breakup vibes between these two remain TBD, Lindsay hopped on Instagram to "celebrate" the one-year anniversary of Carl ending their engagement. And she had a lot to say! Like, truly, she testing the capacity of Instagram's word limit.
"What a difference a year makes 🤯 Today is the one year anniversary of the day that changed the course of my life forever," Lindsay began. "When I think back to this day last year, it was one of the most difficult, humiliating & traumatic events of my adult life. But although the unknown of my future was terrifying… One year later, I can honestly say I am happier than I have ever been because I focused on my own goals, success and happiness. I am proud of just how much I accomplished in this last year."
The reality star went on to chronicle every single month since her and Carl's split, including when she started dating in November, connected with her now-boyfriend in January, found out she was pregnant in April, and beginning filming Summer House in July.
Cut to circa right now and Lindsay is "a proud mom-to-be & have a beautiful baby girl growing inside of me (which is something I have wanted my whole life). I am dating a wonderful, caring, loving, successful, & handsome man who loves me and our cub so much."
She ended her post with "Let me be your proof that everything happens for a reason & that the universe has a bigger plan for you. Even if you can’t see it in the moment, it will all work out the way it’s supposed to!"
