Lindsay Hubbard from 'Summer House' Drops Exciting News: Confirmed for Filming 'In the City' - What's Next for the Reality Star? - lulu

Lindsay Hubbard is officially back for “Summer House” season 10, but this time she’ll be filming a lot more in Manhattan. The Bravo star says fans will get a real look at her life as a working mom to baby Gemma. Her shift to more city-based filming comes amid rumors that Bravo is developing a “Summer in the City” spinoff, which would follow cast members like Hubbard, Ciara Miller, and Amanda Batula as they balance careers, motherhood, and friendships in New York.

Lindsay Hubbard Is Back for Season 10—With a Twist

Hubbard is ready to return to “Summer House”—just not in the way fans might expect. The Bravo star, who welcomed daughter Gemma Kufe in December 2024, confirmed in a new interview with Us Weekly that she’ll be part of Season 10. But instead of spending every weekend partying in the Hamptons, Hubbard says she’ll be filming much of the season in New York City.

“I’ll be at the summer house, like, a couple of times. I can’t not go,” Hubbard said. “But we also film in the city. So I’m assuming I’m gonna be doing a lot of the heavy lifting in the city.”

Hubbard added that she still hopes to make it out east when she can. “If I’m out in the Hamptons, which I hope to be the majority of the summer, then I’ll meet up. I just won’t be like, living at the house each weekend.”

And yes—Gemma will be joining her. “Gemma’s going to be between 6 and 9 months old this summer and it’s the perfect age to spend my first summer with her,” she said. “I’m obviously going to be bringing her to the Hamptons a lot.”

On June 17, Hubbard announced her return on Instagram, posting throwback photos from season 9. “BFFR of course I’m coming back this summer 💃🏼 (it’s just going to look a little different for me since I’m a whole ass mom now 🤱🏼) #SummerHouse #SendIt,” she wrote. Fellow cast members Ciara Miller and West Wilson celebrated the news in the comments, with Miller writing, “Thank god😭😭😭😭 and bring Gemma babe 💎” and Wilson adding, “Fine I’ll babysit.”

Could ‘Summer in the City’ Be Next?

Hubbard’s shift to more city-based filming has fans buzzing about a potential new Bravo project. According to Bravo and Cocktails, the network has floated ideas for a “Summer House” spinoff titled “Summer in the City” (working title). The rumored concept would follow cast members like Hubbard, Paige DeSorbo, Amanda Batula, and others as they navigate life and career in Manhattan.

Unlike the typical Housewives format, the show would reportedly be more grounded—think “Teen Mom” meets “Summer House, with a focus on personal growth and friendships rather than over-the-top drama.

Meanwhile, “Summer House” itself would continue in its current form, with Jesse Solomon, West Wilson, and Miller rumored to be the core cast moving forward.

It’s clear Bravo is experimenting with ways to evolve its hit franchise—and with Hubbard’s real-life journey as a new mom in NYC, she might be laying the groundwork for a new direction altogether.

“Summer House” season 10 is currently in production with a few new faces.
