Lindsay Hubbard Doesn’t Know If She and Boyfriend Turner Kufe 'Would’ve Stayed Together' If She 'Didn't Get Pregnant'-quang

The reality star shared the "one conflict" she and the doctor have in their relationship during the May 21 finale of 'Summer House' season 9

Lindsay Hubbard’s pregnancy changed things for her and her boyfriend Turner Kufe.

In the season 9 finale of Summer House, which aired on May 21, Lindsay, 38, told housemates Amanda Batula and Paige DeSorbo about the challenges of parenting newborn daughter Gemma. The former publicist said she wouldn’t have been able to do it without Turner, who she started dating in January 2024.

“Thank God for Turner,” Lindsay gushed. "I mean, he's incredible, you guys. The things that this man has done, he’s the best guy that you could be in this situation with.”

However, the reality star admitted that she and the doctor had been navigating one recurring issue.

“The one conflict we have is that he’s private and I’m public, and it causes a lot of turmoil because I don’t think he fully wrapped his mind around like, how public somebody is who’s on TV,” Lindsay said to Amanda, 33, and Paige, 32. “It’s like, I’m constantly trying to figure out like, okay, what is acceptable for him or not? And it’s a big conversation that we're having right now.”

Lindsay acknowledged that the situation hadn’t been ideal for her.

“If I didn't get pregnant, I don't know if we would’ve stayed together because for me it’s like, you know, I wouldn't have compromised,” she said.

The Bravolebrity announced her pregnancy in July, six months after reuniting with Turner, who she’d briefly dated in fall 2020.

“Turner’s by far the most private guy I've ever dated,” Lindsay said in a confessional interview. “And I’m not really used to that. Like, this is weird, but we’ll see how it goes. The last time I rearranged my whole life for a guy, like, look where I wound up.” 

Earlier in the episode, as the cast wrapped up the summer with a horror-themed party, Lindsay wondered what her future on Summer House would look like once she became a mom. Lindsay told the cameras she’d been going through an "identity crisis” because of the upcoming changes.

“This is a huge transitional year for me,” Lindsay said. “Like, becoming a mom is a huge transition in and of itself. Then, it’s not like I can live in a party share house, right? So, what does that mean? I don’t know! How am I going to make my money? I don’t f------ know. Where do I go from here?”

Paige told Amanda and Lindsay while recounting her breakup with Craig Conover that sometimes, life doesn’t work out as you thought it would. “You have to come to terms with, it’s not what you imagined, which is such a crazy mindf---,” the Giggly Squad podcast host said.

Paige declared that she felt “good” following the breakup and knew she “made the right decision” to end things with Craig, 37, after three years together.

“It’s November, he comes for Thanksgiving. I don't even know how it came up. He was like, ‘Do you ever fantasize about us hosting holidays with our kids?’ ” Paige recalled. “And I was like, ‘Yeah, like, of course.’ And then I sat there and I was like, 'Wait, no, I don’t' — and that's pretty bad. So I said to him, ‘I don't think I do. And that's not fair to you. Like you deserve to have the love of your life, and I feel like I do too.’ ”

Paige said she and Craig had other “issues” at the time, too. “So I was just like, ‘I don't think I’m feeling the things that I’m supposed to be feeling if we are thinking about getting engaged in the next year,’ ” she continued.

When she and the Southern Charm star had an in-person conversation in December about the future of their relationship, something Craig said confirmed her feelings to move on.

“He says to me, ‘I really wish you didn't do this before you saw the ring,’ ” Paige said to Amanda and Lindsay. “Right when he says that to me in my head I was like, ‘This is why we’re breaking up because I don't know if you’re lying right now.’ ”

Craig allegedly told Paige that he’d had the engagement ring for her. She also shared that, when she reached out to him to ask him to deny rumors that she cheated on him, he declined.

“He goes, ‘I don’t feel comfortable saying anything at this time,’ ” Paige said, adding that, “after that, I was like, and now you're dead to me.”
