Lindsay Hubbard shed some light on why Bailee Henderson has been edited out of Summer House during an interview on Friday.
While also weighing in on the romance between Jesse Solomon, 31, and Lexi Wood, 27, sharing if she has regrets about her time on the series, and discussing the possibility of appearing on another reality show, Lindsay, 39, revealed her worst experience with a Bravolebrity.
“I don’t really know what I’m allowed to say about this topic, but I will say, here’s the deal: If you are brought onto the show with certain expectations based off of what you told producers, such as if you’re single and then you turn out not to be single, it’s kind of an issue,” Lindsay said of Bailee during an April 4 interview with It Girl. “You can’t lie to our producers.”
“I think also, she just was maybe a little bit younger. Like, she has a little bit of growing up to do before doing a TV show where we film our weekends together,” she added.
Then, when asked if Jesse was “love bombing” Lexi, Lindsay confidently declared, “Yes. Duh. We’re all watching it.”
Looking back at her time on Summer House, Lindsay said she doesn’t have many regrets.
“I try not to regret too much because I like to learn from all of this craziness and grow. But, of course, we all have some regrets. I would say some of my relationships I definitely regret — quite a few of them, actually,” she admitted.
As for which other reality shows she’d want to star on, Lindsay said there were “a lot” she “would be great on.”
“[The Traitors], duh. I would be great on [The Real Housewives of New York City]. I would like to like, host a competition dating so, which, clearly, on another network — just don’t tell Bravo,” she laughed.
Also during the interview, Lindsay named Austen Kroll, 37, when asked about her worst encounter with a Bravolebrity.
“Austen Kroll went on Watch What Happens Live, and I’m sitting in the audience, sitting next to his sister, and he was just annihilating me. It was so embarrassing. It was awful,” she admitted. “And then it took him like two years to apologize. Loser. Just kidding. I love you, Austen.”
“We are friends [now,] but it was a pretty bad situation,” she added.
Summer House season nine airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
