Lindsay Hubbard Confirms She's Still Dating the Father of Her Child After Split Rumors-quang

The reality star and the doctor started dating in January 2024 and had their first child together, Gemma, in December

Lindsay Hubbard is clarifying the status of her relationship with boyfriend Turner Kufe.

Hubbard, 38, and Kufe started dating in January 2024 and welcomed their first child, daughter Gemma, in December. Despite recent rumblings that they broke up, the Summer House star debunked the rumors when he joined her for her appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

"He's backstage!" she revealed during the episode, which followed the Summer House season 9 premiere. Kufe also accompanied Hubbard to the Bravo hit's premiere party earlier that evening.

When host Andy Cohen asked what the future looked like for the two of them, Hubbard said she doesn't quite know.

"I think we're trying to figure that out," she explained. "We got pregnant very quickly upon dating and it's very challenging, even on the strongest of relationships."

The reality star previously dated Kufe in 2020 before reconnecting in 2024 once Hubbard ended her engagement to costar Carl Radke. Later that year, in July, Hubbard announced her pregnancy, but she chose to keep Kufe’s identity secret.

"He's a private person, mostly because of his high-powered job," Hubbard told PEOPLE of Kufe, a doctor who works in biotech investing. "Obviously, I'm a very public [person] and share pretty much every aspect of my life with the world, so I know it's weird. But I need to respect his privacy here."

As Hubbard’s due date neared and she eventually gave birth to Gemma on Dec. 8, she said Kufe had “been by my side 24/7” despite them not living together.

“Even though technically this is my apartment, this is our HQ for the home of our daughter and me,” she told PEOPLE in December. “He basically brought over a bunch of clothes and toiletries and is essentially going between my apartment and his apartment, but rarely ever leaves me and Gemma.”

At the time, Hubbard said she and Kufe had been planning to move in together in the coming months.

“It is being discussed,” she stated. “My lease is up in June. We talk a lot about school districts and making those decisions based off of where we might want to send Gemma to school.”

Hubbard also acknowledged that “nothing is guaranteed” in life, hence, why she wanted to take things one step at a time with Kufe.

“When you get pregnant so quickly into dating, I didn't want to put more pressure on our relationship than a pregnancy and a baby is already putting that — very big, lifelong pressure,” she said. “I would love to say, 'One step at a time.' And, yes, it's a little backwards and it's a little out of order, but I wasn't about to add to the to-do list."

The Bravo star shared on Instagram that Kufe got her a Cartier watch as a push present after she gave birth to Gemma. Hubbard bought him a Lola James Jewelry necklace with their daughter’s name on it.

"He really is so incredible, like I don’t lift a finger when he’s around,” Hubbard told PEOPLE in August. “He’s just great."

Hubbard said during the Summer House season 8 reunion in June that her relationship with Kufe had been “tracking in the pretty serious direction."

"He’s been a great support," she added.

The former publicist’s pregnancy and relationship with Kufe will play out in the ninth season of Summer House.

“Last season was, for obvious reasons, difficult to watch. And even the season before that was also difficult for me,” Hubbard said. “So, I'm really hopeful that this season is a good, positive, exciting season for me. I'm so in love with this little girl, and I miss her being in my belly. So getting to be able to watch that back on this season, I feel like it's going to make me emotional.”
