Lindsay Hubbard addressed Dorinda Medley‘s alleged leaking of her pregnancy news while appearing on a podcast on Tuesday.
While also revealing which of her Summer House castmates had been reaching out to her the most since she welcomed daughter Gemma in December, Lindsay, 38, lashed out at the 60-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum’s drunken behavior, claiming that Dorinda also falsely claimed she’d suffered a miscarriage.
“Here’s what happened with Dorinda: Margaret Josephs held a Cinco de Mayo Real Housewives of New Jersey premiere party at her house. So that’s around like, May 5. I didn’t go but I had friends that went,” Lindsay explained on the January 14 episode of Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, via Rate My Bravo on Instagram. “And apparently Dorinda was really, really drunk at this party.”
Although Lindsay said that she and Dorinda had “always been very friendly” to one another during run-ins, she confirmed that they were not close and “don’t speak” with any sort of regularity.
“So, I’m not [at the party but] I have friends there and Dorinda is drunk, going around telling everyone that I’m pregnant, but unfortunately, I lost the baby, and I had a miscarriage,” Lindsay continued. “That’s what she’s going around drunkenly saying at Margaret’s house, and it’s getting back to me from multiple people.”
Around the same time, Lindsay recalled rumors coming out about The Traitors and her potential role in season three.
“This big rumor comes out about how Dorinda had such a problem that she found out I was pregnant, but I shouldn’t be able to compete. Now, I have a problem with this because, why? I’m not affecting you, okay? Now, yes, is it hard to compete on Traitors when you’re pregnant because it’s physically and mentally just a lot on your body and also you’re in isolation, you can’t talk to anyone, you’re in Scotland? Of course. Should I be on Traitors while pregnant? Probably not,” Lindsay noted. “[But] why also are you getting drunk and running around a party and talking about how I had a miscarriage when I didn’t? Especially because I’ve already had a miscarriage in my life.”
As Summer House fans will recall, Lindsay suffered a miscarriage years ago after conceiving a child with her Winter House co-star, Jason Cameron, 38.
“I’ve never spoken to Dorinda about any of this. It was so random to me,” Lindsay added.
Then, moving on to the support she’s received from her castmates after becoming a mom, Lindsay said no one has checked on her more than Paige DeSorbo, 32.
“She has been, like, the most, you know, texting me all the time out of all the girls. She’s like, ‘How’s it going? Thinking about you. What’s going on?’ It’s been really nice,” Lindsay explained.
“It was like a pregnancy that we all shared,” she added of the rest of the cast.
