As the sun sets on another Summer House season, Lexi Wood is still heated as ever about her and Jesse Solomon's post-breakup drama.
The above first look at the Summer House Season 9 finale — set to air on Wednesday, May 21 — picks back up with Lexi telling Ciara Miller she blames Jesse for why she "doesn't trust" her. "I just feel like [from] things that I've heard all summer, it's like you guys are taking it too far, and it's weird," she explains in the preview clip. "And because of that, I haven't been able to bond with you all summer."
As Jesse seeks validation from the group that he didn't intentionally isolate his ex from the other women, Lexi admits that she didn't ask him to "leave [her] alone" so she could spend quality time with the other housemates.
Then, Jesse's bestie West Wilson uncharacteristically jumps in to ask her what changed so drastically in their relationship in recent weeks, to which Lexi responds, "I'm breaking up with him because I can't trust him."
When West presses her further, the model turns to Jesse and savagely elaborates, "When my friends are asking me, 'Oh, who are you dating? What's going on in your life?' … I'm literally embarrassed to say that I'm dating you because you've treated me like s–t for half of our relationship."
After Jesse insists that he never "treated [Lexi] like s–t," she responds, "I do think that you lie by omission, or if not lie fully, and I think that you're sneaky. I think you're only happy when it's only me and you, but you don't wanna meet my friends. … You only want me to yourself because you like to frickin' suffocate me."
Ciara Miller and West Wilson weigh in on Lexi and Jesse's relationship drama
Encouraged by Ciara and Paige DeSorbo to "speak up" more, West continues to defend Jesse, resulting in the sports journalist also going toe-to-toe with Gabby Prescod. When the dust settles, though, West mouths, "You good?" to Lexi.
"No, I hate you," she jokes. "You come at [Gabby] for talking. You talk more than her, so you shut the f–k up."
In a shocking turn of events, Ciara chimes in to actually praise her ex-boyfriend: "He only talks that much one-on-one, not in a group setting," she says. "But, in this context of this conversation alone, yeah, he was doing a good job. I'll give him a f–kin' compliment. … At least he was standing up for his friend because he hasn't all summer."
In an Episode 15 confessional, Ciara continues, "Claps for him. He actually could defend someone, not himself, but someone. And that's a start. … And that'll be the last time I stick up for him, OK? On the record."
West, for his part, adds in his own producer interview, "To end the summer with Ciara defending me at a dinner when, at that same table to start the summer, I got my f–kin' head chopped off, yeah, it feels really good."
Jesse Solomon clarifies his feelings for Ciara Miller
During a post-split debrief with Paige, Ciara joins the two, joking about Lexi's Episode 14 claim that he said he "dislikes" her, one day prior to their U.S. Open outing.
"That's not what I said," Jesse clarifies. "I said, 'I'm so glad that Ciara and I are friends again.'"
As for how he was handling everything, Jesse adds that he's feeling "as good as I could be," conceding that the breakup was "the right thing." And, yes, Ciara, Page, and Amanda Batula all agree with him.
Cue a "bad joke" from Jesse about flirting with Ciara, who playfully rebuffs him, telling him not to "even hug" her.
As Amanda quips, "Guys, the body's not even cold yet. Stop."
