Lauren and Veronica are *still* bad-mouthing their MAFS Australia husbands, of course - suong

In a world of uncertainty and huge political upheaval, it’s nice to know that one thing never changes. MAFS Australia contestants will continue to rip into each other online until the sun burns out or the zombie apocalypse is nigh. Two of the most controversial brides to feature on MAFS Australia 2025 – Lauren and Veronica – are still dragging their husbands on social media and in interviews.

Lauren is still saying Clint wasn’t ‘innately masculine’ enough

In an interview with Glamour, Lauren dragged Clint for… folding her underwear? She said: “Clint was a really lovely person… he’s a great person to be friends with, but just that innately masculine sense was missing from him.”

Lauren laid into her MAFS husband for the great crime… of doing chores. She complained: “I’d be in the apartments working and he would be fluffing around, folding my G-strings into little triangles. I said to him, ‘Haven’t you got something better to do?’ Because he was talking about all these other businesses that he wanted to start. And he was like, ‘No.'”

She was also unimpressed about Clint’s behaviour on another occasion. The cast filmed late one night, then were asked to start filming again early the next morning. Lauren criticised Clint for not kicking up a fuss about this. She said: “I said to Clint, ‘That’s not okay – are you going to say anything about that?’ He was like, ‘Oh no, it’s fine. We’ll be alright.’ And I was like, ‘No, it’s your job to protect us… But he just wouldn’t. He was just, like, go with the flow, everything’s fine. So I felt that I was always the one being the man in the relationship.”

Er, did Veronica suggest her MAFS Australia husband is a lustful loser?

She wrote on her Instagram: “‘You’re too pretty to be single’ nah. I’m too pretty to be wasting my time on lustful losers who lie and cheat.” She captioned the video, “Next”. Ouch.

In case there was any doubt about who Veronica considered a lustful loser, she tagged the video with four MAFS hashtags.

Another video shows Veronica posing for photos, and says, “When they no longer have control over you they will try and control how others see you.”

Veronica also told Glamour she found watching back Eliot’s scenes on MAFS to be “terrifying”. She said: “He would do things like praise me for keeping the apartment clean and for being super low-maintenance, but never asked me a personal question about my career, about my aspirations, about what’s important to me.”
