Laura-Leigh's Post-Vanderpump Rules Journey Unveils an Exciting New Chapter - lulu

In case you were wondering what happened to Laura-Leigh from Vanderpump Rules, we have an update on the VPR alum, including what she has been up to more recently. You see, this includes a big development on the career front for the one-time SURver.

More recently, Laura-Leigh confirmed her new project, titled Jurasses. It has been described as "an animated series about dinosaurs working a strip club." It is "coming soon" according to the show's official description. The show's Instagram account features a number of teasers for the upcoming series that offer up a taste of the show's vibe and look.

In addition to her new project, Laura-Leigh often shares glimpses into her life today on her Instagram, which includes time spent with her circle of friends and her dog.

Laura-Leigh, who only appeared on Season 1 of VPR, has kept a lower profile but remains busy in the years since she stepped away from SUR to pursue her acting career.

What movies was Laura-Leigh from Vanderpump Rules in?

In fact, after she left her the world of Vanderpump Rules, Laura-Leigh went on to act in the film We're The Millers (which was the movie she quit SUR to appear in), playing the role of Kymberly.

“It doesn’t feel like it’s real,” Laura-Leigh shared in an epsiode of VPR at the time. “I used to watch [Jennifer Aniston’s] E! True Hollywood Story at home, like on my couch in Arkansas, and be like, ‘I can do that.’”

In addition to the 2013 comedy film, Laura-Leigh appeared in the spoof movie, Tooken, as well as the movie Under the Silver Lake with Andrew Garfield. Her other movie credits include the John Carpenter film The WardLost Angeles, and a TV movie, Bad Girls.

She also appeared on a number of scripted TV shows including The Client List, Gossip Girl, Law & Order, N3umbers, and Blue Bloods.

Prior to her acting career, she was trained at Julliard, alongside Community actress, Gillian Jacobs. 'We have this student who really wants to do indie films. Will you talk to her?' because I was primarily doing very low-budget indie films," Gillian shared on WWHL back in April 2023. "So I had a coffee with Laura Leigh years before Vanderpump."

And, now, as she continues to navigate Hollywood, she's prepping the release of Jurasses.

Does the VPR cast keep in touch with Laura-Leigh?

While Laura-Leigh is focused on her future endeavors, it doesn't appear she's remained close to her past or the VPR crew. Jax Taylor and Laura-Leigh do follow each other on Instagram to this day, so at the very least, they keep up with each other from afar. (As VPR fans might recall, Jax and Laura-Leigh had a brief romance in Season 1 of Vanderpump Rules.)

In 2023, Katie Maloney shared the last time she spoke to the former SURver. “I have reached out in [the] recent past!” Katie shared during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that year. “She left me on [read]."

In 2024, Scheana Shay spoke to The Daily Dish about all things Laura-Leigh and revealed that while she provided some "iconic moments" during her brief time on VPR, they hadn't kept in touch. "I haven't seen her or talked to her in so long, but if I did, I would give her a hug," Scheana shared with us at the time. "The last time I saw her, I think, was in San Diego at a bar. But yeah, no hard feelings there or anything."
