Lateasha Lunceford of 'Married to Medicine' Opens Up About Her Wedding to Dr. Gregory: An Inside Look-quang

Lateasha Lunceford is still giddy about her wedding to Married to Medicine star Dr. Gregory Lunceford, and she doesn’t mind admitting it.

Lateasha, or Sweet Tea, as she’s called, joined the Bravo reality series for Season 10, which just recently kicked off. She tells PEOPLE that the couple’s April nuptials, documented for the show, were a total dream come true for her.

Looking back at the wedding of her dreams

“Just seeing my husband when I stepped on that aisle, I was like, ‘This is it! He’s mine.’” Lateasha, 32, recalled. “I couldn’t believe it was happening. I still can’t believe it sometimes.”

Lateasha and Gregory, 56, tied the knot in April at The Starling Hotel in Atlanta after a rain forecast stopped their plans of having an outdoor celebration. The wedding theme was cherry blossoms, a nod to D.C., where Lateasha lived before meeting Gregory.

“It was absolutely gorgeous. We had flowers everywhere,” she recalled. The fragrant pink and white blossoms were the main decorations for the ceremony and the reception.

The bride walked down the aisle to a cover of the Isley Brothers classic “At Your Best” in a cream-corseted mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline. It also featured several pearl details throughout.

“When I put the dress on and looked at myself in the mirror, I cried,” Lateasha reminisced. “I never imagined the day would finally come when I would be getting married. I was like, ‘Today is the day I marry the man of my dreams.’”

Still on a wedding high

The couple celebrated with friends and family in a reception filled with music, as this was their top priority. Among the 150 guests were several of the couple’s castmates, including Toya Bush-Harris, Eugene Harris, Phaedra Parks, Dr. Simone Whitmore, and Dr. Jackie Walters.

“We had so much fun, dancing our behinds off,” Lateasha recalls. “It was such a memorable day, and we were grateful to have our family there and everyone loving on us.”

Seven months after her dream wedding, Lateasha is still as giddy as when it was happening. “I feel so lucky,” she gushed. “What I love about being married to Gregory is that I have found someone who loves me and needs me. Someone to come home to who is my best friend.”

Married to Medicine airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo and Peacock the next day.
