Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby quickly shuts down one of the silliest narratives you will hear this offseason - suong

When you have something good, but you're not a very good team, and haven't been a very good team in some time, that good thing that you have, yeah, everyone wants a piece of it. And, that's how it's been for the Las Vegas Raiders with Maxx Crosby -- everyone wants to trade for him, and who can blame them?

But, let's be honest here -- Crosby is the Raiders, if that makes sense. He is the Silver and Black and that's what he bleeds, too. The Raiders are likely never going to trade Maxx Crosby. He is one of those players who could very well retire in the same uniform he started his career with.

But, those rumors of him being traded haven't slowed down, especially with Crosby wanting more guaranteed money on his deal, and the team entering yet another new regime and resetting.

But he addressed some of those rumors and shut down the narratives. He said he just wants to win, and he wants that guaranteed money.

"Honestly, you know what it is," Crosby said to Jon Gruden at Radio Row during the Super Bowl. "Two years ago, at the trade deadline -- I'm from Michigan, everyone knows that, and for some reason, it just became a thing -- Maxx needs to go to the Detroit Lions to bring him in with Hutch (Aidan Hutchinson), it's going to be a thing, boom, boom, boom, boom.

"So that was the first time I ever started hearing like real trade rumors, and I'm like, this is kind of weird. Right now it's the Buffalo Bills, I don't know where that came from, but Bills Mafia is blowing up my phone. I have no control over it. I just show up, go to work, and do what I do."

The Raiders will likely get to Crosby's deal soon. It's a long offseason with a lot of things to check off of the list, and I'm sure his contract is one of the biggest things they have on their list, after maybe getting a quarterback.

Now, only time will tell what happens
