Remember for a hot minute in 2019, Larsa Pippen was linked to Ben Simmons. Her divorce from and custody agreement with Scottie Pippen was yet to be finalized. It would be a while before she’s even rumored to be dating Michael Jordan’s son. Larsa would set the record straight on the alleged romance. Now in her return as a podcast host, Pippen laid out the absurdity of those wild rumors. The scrutiny of the RHOM star’s love life is crazier than expected once you know the background of those Ben Simmons rumors.
Since her breakup from Marcus Jordan, their previous podcast is a no go. Instead, Pippen teamed up with her original ride-or-die, Michelle Pooch, for a new podcast, Going Rogue. They began 2025 dissecting Larsa’s love life in the spotlight.
Midway Larsa claimed, “I’ve definitely been linked to guys that I’ve never even hung out with.” And Pooch confirmed it. The most prominent example of this Larsa gives is one of her most well-known rumors. “I was linked to Ben Simmons, do you remember? And I never sought him out.”
Pooch even says that ‘people’ asked her if the Larsa-Ben rumor, among many others, is true. Pippen’s bestie, though, refused to air her business. This is not the only time it’s happened either and Larsa says, “I don’t even know them by the way.” She said they’d be at parties where the likes of Ben Simmons or some other famous name would be there. They’d never interact but being in the same venue would create the rumors.
Similar rumors came up when Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan were in the same orbit. They’d make their relationship Instagram official in January 2023, but would later say that they weren’t even romantically together when the rumors first came up. Before that, Larsa was linked to Ben Simmons.
Larsa Pippen shut down Ben Simmons rumors quickly
Ben Simmons and Kendall Jenner were broken up by the time he was linked to Kar-Jenner family friend, Larsa Pippen. Rumors cropped up when Larsa was seen leaving a Hollywood bash that he was a guest at too. At this time, Larsa’s still in Kim Kardashian’s social circle and fans went after her for apparently breaking a code.
Pippen immediately put those rumors to rest with a straightforward Instagram Story. “I never even saw him, let alone left with him,” Pippen wrote in her post. “He dated my bff’s sister and I would never.”
She’d be in a similar situation in 2022. After her divorce from Scottie Pippen was finalized (in 2021), Larsa and Marcus were seen in the same spots several times at the peak of Pip’s feud with Michael Jordan. She’d again state that, she and Marcus “have been friends for the last couple of years.”
Eventually they dated, made it public, were teasing marriage, broke up once, reunited briefly, and broke up again for good. Larsa admitted to Pooch it’s become difficult to date in the public eye because of these situations and she’s going to be very cautious who she’s seen with. So don’t hold your breaths for a new Larsa Pippen romance in 2025.
