Bravo star and entrepreneur Larsa Pippen has lived much of her personal life in the public eye—from her decades-long marriage to NBA legend Scottie Pippen to high-profile romances with younger men.
Now, the “Real Housewives of Miami” cast member is offering candid advice on love, dating, and navigating tricky relationships.
Larsa Pippen Shares Her Thoughts on Dating Deal Breakers
In a Q&A shared with Bravo Insider, Pippen answered fan-submitted questions with her signature honesty, touching on everything from parenting and business to romantic boundaries and generational differences in relationships.
When asked about dating a partner who doesn’t get along with a child from a previous relationship, Pippen didn’t hesitate. “If you have a problem with my kids, that is a deal breaker. There’s no way in hell I would ever deal with someone that had something negative to say about my son,” she said.
Pippen was equally direct when offering guidance to someone struggling with a closeted love interest. “It’s hard to put pressure on someone that’s not ready for a relationship or to be open with you,” she said.
“You just have to fall back, relax, love the person from a distance and they have their own journey.”
On Younger Men, Planning Ahead, & Staying Patient
The “Real Housewife” also weighed in on the dynamics of dating someone younger, a topic she’s all too familiar with after her recent relationships with Marcus Jordan and, more recently, Jeff Coby.
“If you’re planning the future and he’s literally living in today’s world, that’s a hard relationship, you know?” Pippen explained.
“A lot of times when like women are older and guys are younger, we have to show them that we have to think about the future. Women innately are so much more mature than men so when you’re older than men and you’re more mature, you have to be patient and in the mode of helping navigate the relationship,” she added.
That wisdom comes from experience. Pippen was married to Scottie Pippen for over two decades before their divorce was finalized in 2021.
Since then, she’s had high-profile relationships with rapper Future, Malik Beasley, and Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, per People.
Her most recent romance is with former pro basketball player Jeff Coby, with whom she made her red carpet debut in April 2025.
Still, Pippen isn’t chasing the past. “I thought it was going to be easier, to be honest with you … Once I started dating, I’m like — I’m gonna have to come to the realization that I’m not gonna get it all,” she previously said on “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Melissa Gorga’s “On Display” podcast.
