Lala Kent reveals she took a break from dating after failing a background check on her last date - lulu

On Friday, Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent revealed the last guy she went on a date with didn't fare so well after the 'in depth full' background check run by her private investigator.

'The last date I went on, it was a group date because remember y'all, that's the only thing I'm comfortable with right now,' the 31-year-old Give Them Lala CEO said on her one-hour Amazon livestream Balling on a Budget: Date Night Looks.

'And he was fine. But the PI check didn't come back so great, so I had to kick him to the curb. [I] haven't been on a date since. I've been talking to people, but no dates. I go on dates with my mom [Lisa Burningham] and [my daughter] Ocean. Such a vibe.'

Lala (born Lauryn) continued: 'I gotta know before you enter my life. Do we have some [tax] liens? Do we owe some people? I mean, I gotta know. Do we have a sketchy background? I need to know that.

'I have a daughter now and I'm not welcoming just anybody into my life. Number one, it would be a waste of time...I have to be very careful now for [my baby]. She's the number one priority.'

This Tuesday, Kent and her 'philandering' ex-fiancé Randall Emmett will celebrate the first birthday of their daughter Ocean.

However, the 50-year-old filmmaker might have custody of the baby that day considering the Utah-born blonde already threw a birthday party last Saturday at Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's $1.9M LA home. 

The 31-year-old Give Them Lala CEO said on her Amazon livestream: 'The PI check didn't come back so great, so I had to kick him to the curb. [I] haven't been on a date since. I've been talking to people, but no dates. I go on dates with my mom [Lisa Burningham] and [my daughter] Ocean. Such a vibe'

Lala and Randall reportedly only communicate through a third-party app to arrange pick-ups and drop-offs for their cherubic child.

On March 2, Kent claimed Emmett started a relationship with a 23-year-old woman in March 2021 - the same month she gave birth - and that woman moved into their home two days after their October split.

'They "traveled" together while I was home with Ocean, and working on my brand. I thought he was working, because that's what he said he was doing,' the Out of Death actress commented on Tina Swithin's Instagram.

'This isn't the most shocking thing I learned': On March 2, the Out of Death actress claimed Emmett started a relationship with a 23-year-old woman in March 2021 - the same month she gave birth - and that woman moved into their home two days after their October split

'After the pictures surfaced, I tried to leave the home to gain clarity and avoid a toxic environment for my daughter, but anytime I did he threatened to call the police if I didn't return Ocean to the home. But if he felt we were good and he was in control again, I was able to leave the house. I did what I had to do to leave the relationship with my baby. His new 23-year-old girlfriend was "basically living" in the home two days after I left. 

'Sadly this isn't the most shocking thing I learned. Women and cheating are just the tip of the iceberg. I was able to get out, but now my daughter is in the hands of a broken court system. Narcs thrive when they are under a microscope. I am not blind to what is going on, though. It makes me sick that my sweet daughter's face (a picture I took and sent to him by the way) is what pops up when he does his dirty work.'
