Watching your children grow is a powerful reminder of how time flies — at least, that appears to be the case for Lala Kent.
Nearly four months after welcoming her second daughter, Sosa Kent, the Vanderpump Rules mom hopped on Instagram to share the infant’s latest milestone. She posted the cutest photo of her baby gazing at the family dog Lily while sitting in her Skip Hop Baby Activity Center.
Lala reveals how quickly Sosa is growing: "It's happening too fast"
“A new milestone for Sosa,” Lala captioned the January 22 Story. “I’m going to cry. It’s happening too fast.”
Lala spoke about the activity center in her May 15, 2024, Amazon Live stream, just a couple of months after she confirmed her second pregnancy. The Utah native said she had used the center for her firstborn daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett, who was a big fan of its interactive features.
“This thing is huge,” she said. “I highly recommend this activity center. Ocean loved it. I still have videos of her in this activity center. I love this thing… During the pandemic I used to put her in this and watch OG episodes of [The Real Housewives of New York City].”
She highlighted the center’s developmental activities and the way it can be modified to “grow” with the baby.
“It turns into so many different things,” she said. “At the beginning, there’s a little piano [pad] for their toes when they can’t quite walk or stand; then they can stand in it and start building those muscles in their legs; and then in converts into a play table.”
Lala opens up about her pregnancy journey
Lala gave birth to Sosa on September 3, 2024, just a day after her own birthday. The former SUR hostess opened up about her pregnancy in Vanderpump Rules Season 11, saying she would conceive baby No. 2 through intrauterine insemination (IUI) and a sperm donor.
She explained her decision in Episode 7 (March 12, 2024) during a sitdown with Lisa Vanderpump.
“Why do you want a sperm donor?” Lisa asked.
“Because I want another baby so badly,” Lala replied.
Lisa questioned why Lala was in a rush to expand her family and simply didn’t wait until she was in another relationship.
“I don’t want another baby daddy. It’s not happening. There’s no changing my mind,” Lala said before expanding on her position in a confessional. “I know this is not ‘the norm,’ and I just feel like going the donor route is the right decision for me. I want an absolute with this baby. No matter what, this is my baby. No one can ever come in and take it from me. I don’t have to share it on Christmas Day. Just mine.”
