Pump Rules' Lala Kent Claims She "Couldn't Stand" Randall and Would Beg for Reason to Leave Him Amid Toxic Relationship, Talks Keeping New Romance Secret

After splitting from Randall Emmett in October 2021, Lala Kent is claiming she “really didn’t like” him at all.

While appearing on Heather McDonald‘s podcast earlier this week, the Vanderpump Rules star admitted she was simply “existing” with the producer during their five-year relationship and hiding the fact that she “couldn’t stand him” and was constantly begging the universe to give her a way out.

“My bounce back was super quick. I find that to be easy when you finally have a bird’s eye view on your life and you’re like, ‘Wow, I really didn’t like you, ever,’” Lala said on the March 8 episode of Juicy Scoop, adding that her falling out with Randall, which came amid reports of infidelity, was a “traumatic experience.”

“I was existing in my life. I stayed in a bathrobe all day. I just felt like, lifeless, for a long time,” she explained.

Although Lala deleted all photos and videos of Randall shortly after learning he had allegedly been unfaithful, she recently came across an image of him on her phone and ultimately began to look back at “when the sh-t hit the fan in text messages.”

“I put my phone down and I was like, ‘Thank you, Jesus.’ I felt euphoric,” she admitted.

According to Lala, Randall manipulated her into thinking he was someone he was not, which prompted her to make excuses for the unhappiness she was feeling in their relationship.

“He’s such a mastermind manipulator that I thought he was really a good dude to me. So I made concessions for the fact that I couldn’t stand him,” she revealed. “I was like, ‘But he’s nice. He takes care of me. He cares about what I’m saying,’ which, really, I don’t even remember ever being able to get a word in.”

“I would beg the universe at night, like, ‘Give me something,’” she continued. “Because for me, there’s no coming back from drug use and there’s no coming back from cheating. And I would beg the f-cking universe, like, ‘Give me a reason to get the f-ck out of this.’ And on October 15, the universe f-cking provided me with everything and more.”

Looking back at the years she spent with Randall, Lala said she doesn’t know him and revealed she told him he doesn’t know her because the way she was with him wasn’t who she truly is.

“I had my dukes up all the time because I was constantly being poked at in that relationship. I was constantly on the defense and that’s not me,” she shared. “When [I’m] home in a safe place, I don’t want to be tough. I want to chill.”

As for how she’s feeling now, Lala said she is happy, although she continues to learn more about Randall’s reported cheating.

“This was divine intervention… [Now] I can get back to what I’m physically attracted to, tall, dark, and handsome, covered in tattoos, banging,” she proclaimed.

While Lala is currently dating, she said she hasn’t “had sex yet” (the last time was July 2020, over a year before she left Randall) and won’t be showcasing her new romance “for a minute.”

“He’s someone who should be protected just for a moment,” she teased.
