Lala Kent is opening up about what's next for her after going to the doctor to get an abnormality near her eye checked out by a specialist and learning that it has been diagnosed as pre-cancer. The Vanderpump Rules alum candidly discussed the pre-cancer diagnosis, while also sharing the plan for treating it during an emotional Instagram Story update.
"I have an update on the eye. So I got a text from the doctor that I went and saw last night at 10:30 p.m. I'm so grateful, he said that the specialist can see you tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. So I was there at 9 a.m., she looked at it, she said, 'That it is pre-cancer,'" Lala said.

Lala then revealed that she's being proactive in treating it, while also dealing with all the emotions that come with it. "And she said, 'I want to start you on chemotherapy drops.' Now I know that sounds terrifying. I cried, obviously, because the moment you hear that word," Lala said. "She said, 'I want you to do the chemo drops for 3 months. We're going to do a week of them and then go off for 3 weeks, and we're going to do that for 3 months.'"

What's next for Lala Kent in her health journey?
While Lala didn't into further detail about specifically what kind of pre-cancer she has, The Valley friend did add, "At that point in time, God willing, it kills all of the cancerous cells. If it doesn't, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it and talk about surgery. So there's the update."

What Lala Kent has said about her eye pre-cancer and health journey
Lala previously opened up about finding the abnormality near her eye and waiting on results to find out if it was pre-cancer in a separate Instagram Story post earlier this week. “So, I originally went to an eye doctor, and he was like, ‘Oh yeah, it just looks like an inflamed pinguecula,’ right? And a lot of people wrote in (online) and were saying that same type of thing, or maybe it was allergies," she shared.
She added, “For some reason, that just didn’t feel right because the [eye] drops [the doctor] gave me weren’t working. I went to a doctor’s appointment today — to a doctor that came very highly recommended — and he looked at it and said, ‘I do not think it is [an inflamed pinguecula] at all. I actually want to biopsy it because, to me, it looks like it could be pre-cancer.’ So, they’re trying to expedite surgery to remove it and see what it actually is.”
Prior to finding out her diagnosis, Lala admitted that she was struggling with how to navigate this moment emotionally: “It’s just wild. I’ll have friends who come to me when they’re going through a health situation, and I’m like, ‘It’s going to be fine. You’ll be good. We’re gonna figure it out. We’ll cross bridges when we get to them.’ Then, when you’re placed in this situation, all you can do is just sit here and stress and think about every possible horrendous situation, and all of the advice that you give to people completely goes out the window. So, I’m trying to stay positive.”
