Kyle Richards Slams Co-Stars as Two-Faced, Claims They Act Differently Off-Camera

Reality TV is no stranger to drama, but the behind-the-scenes dynamics can often be just as intense as what we see on screen. Kyle Richards, a staple on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, recently revealed some frustrations she’s been experiencing with her castmates, especially Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke. Kyle explained to Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast how certain women on the show act one way off-camera and completely different when the cameras are rolling. What’s more, she believes the cast may be using her as a scapegoat to avoid discussing their own personal lives.

Here’s everything Kyle Richards had to say about the “two-faced” behavior, the pressure of reality TV, and the unexpected support she’s found in her sister Kathy Hilton.

Kyle Richards opened up about feeling betrayed by Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke, who she claims were sweet and supportive off-camera but changed their tune once filming began. “It hurts me,” Kyle admitted. The shift in behavior, she says, left her feeling ambushed, especially when she saw how things were portrayed in interviews and the edited footage.

Kyle Richards singled out Sutton for her reaction after Kyle walked out of Bozoma Saint John’s spa event, a moment that Kyle says was blown out of proportion. “I’ve been on this show for 14 years, and that’s the first time I’ve ever walked off,” Kyle pointed out. “How many times has she walked off? This woman has walked off so many times.” Kyle didn’t mince words when describing Sutton’s actions, calling them “dramatic” and suspecting that Sutton wanted to create a moment for herself.

Kyle’s biggest frustration with RHOBH seems to be how certain situations are framed. One example she gave was a conversation she had with Erika Jayne, where Erika revealed that none of the women had reached out to Dorit Kemsley during her separation from her husband, PK. Despite this, the storyline seemed to shift, and Kyle was left holding the bag.

“Instead of them being the ones in the wrong for not reaching out to Dorit… it’s Kyle again,” she explained. This constant scapegoating, she says, is a major downside of being on reality TV. “They’re looking for things to try and make me look bad… That’s the really frustrating part of reality television.”

Kyle believes this targeted treatment may be a way for her co-stars to avoid facing their own personal issues. “Part of that is just them not wanting to talk about their own lives,” she mused, suggesting that by focusing on her and the drama surrounding Dorit, the other women could deflect from their own situations.

Amidst all the tension, one person who has been a constant source of support for Kyle is her sister, Kathy Hilton. Kyle shared that Kathy has been a sounding board for her, helping her navigate the challenges of the show. “I actually was on the phone with her for like an hour yesterday,” Kyle revealed. “That definitely helps.”
