Kyle Richards confirmed that Mauricio Umansky moved out of their Los Angeles home and into a West Hollywood bachelor pad nine months after their split.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star admitted on the “Bitch Bible” podcast Tuesday that it was “weird” when her husband of 28 years bought his own place.
“I always knew when that day came it would feel strange, very real all of a sudden,” she said. ” And that’s exactly what happened. I’m a mom of four, I have a busy household.”
Richards, 55, explained that she is “used to having a lot of chaos” in the house from her four daughters —Farrah, 35, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16 — and “six dogs.”
“The day that he moved out was just strange because I came home and I’m like, ‘Everything’s so quiet,'” she recalled. “I was like, ‘Where is everybody?'”
Umansky, 53, chose to move out while Richards was “out of town” one weekend, which she admitted was “the smart thing to do.”
“I didn’t want to be there to see that,” she said.
While Richards didn’t reveal exactly where Umansky moved, Us Weekly reported that he snagged a luxury condo in the same building where Matt Damon owns an $8.6 million unit.
The actress also revealed that, at the same time the “Buying Beverly Hills” star moved into his new apartment, Alexia also got her own place after living with her parents for a few years.
“It was strange,” Richards reiterated of the quiet home. “Just like, ‘Wow, it’s gonna be like this sometimes.'”
Richards also touched on how she’s grappling with the split, saying she has learned to view their marriage as an “accomplishment” rather than a failure.
“It took me a while to really realize that,” the Bravolebrity said.
“I was very proud of my marriage and my family that we built. It was hard for me to finally get to a place where I could say, ‘This was a success, no matter what.'”
