Kyle Richards had an emotional response when asked for her thoughts on the news that Dorit Kemsley officially filed for divorce from Paul "PK" Kemsley.
"That's just always sad to me," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member said during an Amazon Live stream on April 28.
"I love her family and her kids," Kyle added of Dorit and PK's two children, Phoenix Kemsley and Jagger Kemsley. "It's just sad. That's all I can say about that."
Kyle's response comes just days after Dorit made the filing on April 25. So far, she and Erika Jayne are the only RHOBH cast members to weigh in. The latter, for her part, reacted during an interview conducted the same day of the filing. "I literally just found out online like everyone else, maybe an hour ago," Erika told Us Weekly. "Obviously, I reached out to her. She’s got more important things to do than to talk to me right now.”

The RHOBH cast members repeatedly clashed throughout Season 14 — largely due to Kyle texting PK amid his separation from Dorit — but they took steps to reconcile at the reunion. Kyle apologized for texting PK behind Dorit's back, and Dorit in turn expressed her desire to "get together" with Kyle after the reunion to further hash things out privately.

Kyle stated during the RHOBH Season 14 reunion that she hadn't texted PK since October 2024, and the only reason she had reached out to him then was because PK and Dorit's son, Jagger, had been hospitalized.
PK, however, made it seem like all is well between him and Kyle when he spoke to Us Weekly in March 2025. "Kyle's always been a super dear friend of mine," he said.
Why did Dorit Kemsley file for divorce from PK?
Dorit has yet to speak out about what led to the recent filing, but the legal move comes around 12 months after she first confirmed her separation from PK in May 2024. At the time, they released a joint statement that read, "We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together. To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children. We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey."
