Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna aren’t as close as they used to be.
As she films the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills without her longtime castmate, who left the series in January after eight seasons, Kyle, 54, offered an update on her status with Lisa, 59, admitting that when it comes to their past issues, she’s “moving on.”
“We were having some issues before. Obviously, you guys may know that,” Kyle shared during a March 1 appearance on Amazon Live.
As RHOBH fans well know, Lisa accused Kyle’s sister, Kathy Hilton, 63, of threatening to destroy Kyle and her family amid an alleged “psychotic break” in Aspen on season 12. And, while Kathy denied Lisa’s recollection of the night at hand, the drama drove a wedge between the sisters, who have remained estranged since filming wrapped.
Continuing on about her relationship with Lisa, Kyle confirmed she reached out to her former co-star after learning she would not be included in season 13.
“I texted her when I found out that she wasn’t coming back, and, you know, like I said, unfortunately, we had that issue. But we’ll get past all that. And I’m fine, you know, I’m just moving on from everything, and I had to put all that behind me,” she explained.
While Kyle is glad to be moving forward amid production on the new season, she praised Lisa for what she brought to the show and said she will miss her.
“She brought a lot to the show … and she’ll be missed,” she stated.
One person who won’t miss Lisa on RHOBH? Garcelle Beauvais, 56.
During an appearance on Sherri Shepherd‘s talk show, Sherri, earlier this week, Garcelle made it clear that when it came to Lisa’s exit, she shed no tears.
“I’m good. I’m so good,” Garcelle said on the February 28 episode before adding, “You know what? Listen. I’m gonna give her credit. She definitely came on the show and made her mark. But now it’s time for new. It’s time for new.”
Garcelle then reacted to Lisa’s suggestion that her exit meant she and Sutton Stracke, 51, would have to “show up and work.”
“B-tch, I’ve been showing up!” she clapped back. “I’ve been showing up. That’s why me and Sutton are considered the favorites.”
