Kyle Richards Explains Why Erika Jayne Is Missing From 'RHOBH' Girls Trip Pic
The cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was recently on a girls' trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, and a few of them commemorated it with a post on social media.
Both Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards shared a photo of five of the six women who were reportedly in Las Vegas at the time, with Erika Jayne notably missing.
Kemsley captioned the photo, "5 out of 6 in Vegas #rhobh," which some fans read as shade targeted at Jayne.
One fan commented on Kemsley's photo, "not '5 out of 6' 😭😭😭," while another said, "THE ERIKA ERASURE??? YASSS SHADY QUEEN."
So when Richards posted the same photo on her social media, she revealed the real reason Jayne wasn't in the photo.
The RHOBH star captioned her photo, "Girls trips are always a gamble 🎲 🎰 Thank you @crystalkungminkoff for superimposing @theprettymess who had stepped away."
Along with the original picture, Richards' Instagram post, which you can see here, includes a version of it in which Crystal Kung Minkoff edited a photo of Jayne.
Some fans weren't convinced by Richards' explanation, with one person writing, "'Stepped away' lolll. Why couldn't you take the pic when she returned 😂😂."
A different comment read, "This photo without @theprettymess looks and feels boring!"
Others were a bit more straightforward with their complaints, as a fan replied to Richards' post, "Where’s Erika. She looked great. This bunch not so much. Get [Lisa] Rinna back."
Rinna announced this January that she would be leaving RHOBH after eight seasons. In a statement, she said, "This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series."
Richards suggested the celebrity that she would like to take Rinna's place, saying, “I always said Chrissy Teigen would be the best. It’s not an easy job, believe it or not.”
The premiere date for RHOBH Season 13 has not been announced yet, so fans will have to wait and see how it all shakes out when the show returns.
