Kyle Richards' ex Mauricio Umansky slammed over looking for real estate clients amid Pacific Palisades fires

Kyle Richards' ex Mauricio Umansky has been slammed over apparently looking for real estate clients amid the catastrophic Pacific Palisades wildfires.

The wildfires are rapidly spreading across Los Angeles today with firefighters conceding they remain powerless to contain the flames because of strong winds. At least two people have been killed in the fires.

Sharing devastating images of the fire from his home, the realtor wrote: 'I am praying for all who lost their homes.

'I’m praying for Los Angeles and for the winds to stop. I am praying for our brave fire fighters. This is so devastating myself and The Agency will do whatever we can in our power to help.

The star's post was swiftly slammed by followers with one writing: 'Helping how? Charging $50million for a house?'

Another wrote: 'getting sued by PPP fraud from stealing from state of California'. In August Umansky found himself in some legal hot water over some allegedly fraudulent PPP loans he received during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Umansky and his real estate company known simply as The Agency were accused of fraudulently obtaining $3.5 million in PPP loans during the pandemic.

Umansky - who was married to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards for 27 years until their split in July 2023 - is being sued by Realtor LLC.

The lawsuit was filed in July 2023, though, according to InTouch, it was recently unsealed by the court, though Umansky - whose Netflix show Buying Beverly Hills was recently canceled - has denied the claims.

Another follower wrote: 'Thoughts and prayers with LA and I don’t think trying to sell houses immediately after people lost homes, memories and animals. Plus natural beauty is a great idea.'

Others wrote: 'Sending my prayers', and sent well wishes to 'Mo and the family.'

LA's fire chief said on Wednesday morning that the fires have left at least two dead, as well as many 'significant injuries.'

The Palisades Fire broke out on Tuesday morning amid high winds in a region that hasn't seen significant rainfall in more than six months.

Over 30,000 people have been evacuated, often leaving with just their pets and the shirts on their backs.

Bethenny Frankel discusses relief efforts for Palisades fire
Sunset Boulevard in the Palisades was packed with abandoned luxury cars as residents left their vehicles to flee on foot.

Blocks of expensive homes were reduced to rubble as the fires advanced at the rate of three football field lengths per minute.

A stretch of homes on the beach along Pacific Coast Highway have been burned to the ground.

The fire reached the Getty Villa but officials from the museum assured the public that all of the art and artifacts are safe.

The Palisades fire is not the only fire raging in Los Angeles. The Eaton fire in the Pasadena area has claimed two lives and caused the evacuation of a senior center.

Jamie Lee Curtis has evacuated and does not know if her home has burned down or not.
